I own all the unreleased on DVD and KTMA. They are not high quality, but they do the job.

I'm not surprised the Best Brains master tape is still missing in action. What does surprise me is that Rifftrax hasn't taken the opportunity to re-riff the Mylar short, considering how often they release shorts as part of their on going VOD catalog. Maybe they haven't found a copy that meets their standards yet?

Technically the rest of the singles are already released. They're just online exclusives through Shout's store. What Shout Singles aren't part of the volume sets? I could only figure out 4: - The Wild World of Batwoman
- Red Zone Cuba
- Beginning of the End
- Manos: The Hands of Fate
That could make a "Singles 2" set if they decided to discontinue the singles. The remaining unreleased movies all have rights issues. I guess if they ever finagle rights to any of them, they could release it as a single instead of saving up for a new volume set. However, the remaining films most likely to see an eventual release are the 3 Paramount movies currently licensed to Olive Films. They may end up all becoming available at once, which could make for another "volume" or other box set.

Yep, those are the volume-less releases. Technically they could, but right now I'm not holding my breath on it. I wouldn't complain if it happened though.

unlike the other singles they made manos a "special edition" so unless they get really desperate/greedy i don't see why they should repackage it again

4 further releases Shout can still do with original run MST3K material. #s 1 and 2 should definitely be done and it's disappointing they haven't already.
-----------------------------------------
1- Package the 3 solo single movies and have the 4th disc be full of bonus items not yet released on DVD/digital The Wild World of Batwoman Red Zone Cuba Beginning of the End BONUS Disc
2- Do a compilation release of all items not yet released on DVD/digital This Is MST3K The Making of Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Last Dance - Raw! MST3K: The Home Game Summer Blockbuster Reviews MST3K Little Gold Statue Preview Special The MST Scrapbook Turkey Days '91-'95 segments * bumpers
3- KTMA episodes (the ones available to legally release) OR a KTMA host segment compilation
4- Work out a co-licensing deal with the 3 Paramount-Olive films and figure out Delta Knights 416 - Fire Maidens from Outer Space 905 - The Deadly Bees 906 - The Space Children 913 - Quest of the Delta Knights

GodzFire, the Summer Blockbuster Reviews and Award Specials are out on DVD. The first 1000 or 1500 people who ordered volumes 36 and 37 directly from Shout got them on bonus discs.

The Making of MST3K, The Last Dance, and the Turkey Day bumpers have all been released for quite a while as well. They're spread out on the volumes.

The Making of MST3K, The Last Dance, and the Turkey Day bumpers have all been released for quite a while as well. They're spread out on the volumes. Just to be more specific: The Making of MST3K (1997) is on Vol XXII The Last Dance is on Vol XXXIX "Night of the Blood Beast" Comedy Central "Turkey Day" host segments, and the "Turkey Day" ‘95 bumpers are on Vol XVI "Bumper to Bumper: Turkey Day Through the Years" featuring the bumpers for Turkey Day 91, 92, and 95, are on Vol XXXI, aka the "Turkey Day Collection" The '93 and '94 Turkey Day segments weren't produced by Best Brains and don't feature the cast, so Shout doesn't likely own the rights, and they haven't been released on DVD. Also, "MST3K: The (Nearly) Definitive KTMA Segment Collection" was announced as a buy-direct-from-Shout bonus disc for Vol XXXVIII, but was shelved for quality issues, and the "Play MSTie For Me Triple Decker" bonus disc was included instead.

The Final Sacrifice appears to be available for purchase on Amazon Video once more. Did Shout! get the rights back?

The Final Sacrifice appears to be available for purchase on Amazon Video once more. Did Shout! get the rights back? It does indeed appear to be back for both purchase and rental. It's also back on VHX. mst3k.vhx.tv/products/the-final-sacrifice Interesting. Soultaker is still down though. I wonder if Shout was able to get DVD rights back too, or if they can only release it digitally. Will Rifftrax be able to start offering it again? I wonder how expensive the license was for them to renew it compared to other episodes. Maybe if they get the Paramount/Olive trilogy secured they could include Final Sacrifice as a returning favorite even if they still don't know who owns Delta Knights.

Not sure what you mean about Rifftrax & Final Sacrifice. I just used the $10 Christmas bonus to buy it on New Year's Eve.
