That thought occured to me the other day, and I realized that the only TV network with the style and panache to pull it of is TCM!
If more than seven people agree with me we'll storm TCM studios and tell Robert Osborne to get in touch with Best Brains for airing rights for the public domain episodes!
...or not, but what do you guys think?

I've already stated that I'd love it for TCM or AMC to pick up the show.
However, I think you're more likely to see it on Spike or G4.

Not that I want to be a party pooper, for I would love to see MST back on the air, the problem for networks is getting the rights for the movies. That's an expensive proposition, and why most networks couldn't afford it.

My ultimate goal is to acquire enough wealth to launch my own TV network, then buy back the rights to all 10 network seasons of MST3K. I know it's impossible, but I can dream...

However, I think you're more likely to see it on Spike or G4. Spike TV made it clear when it first started a few years ago, that MST3K was not "manly" enough of a show to air on their network. According to them MST3K appealed more to women.

Wow, Xerxes, maybe we should be pitching it to Lifetime TV then!
That would be funny, cause then a bunch of guys around here would be tuning in and having to sit through comercials for femine hygiene products and baby food.

Spike TV sucks ass. I wouldn't want to lower MST by having it on that channel

Any channel that is wise enough to show MST3K becomes cool by osmosis....

The Spike executives have obviously only ever seen Mike's Janeway and Carol Channing scenes...
