Is there ever a joke or critique made by the MSTie guys that you just do not agree with?
For me it is their joking on I LOVE LUCY as if it is not a great show. And they always seem to mix up The Lucy Show with I Love Lucy- which also annoys me.
I LOVE "I LOVE LUCY" and always have. I think it is as funny today as it was - I would imagine - when it first came out.
Any others?

I think this avenue has been explored before. The cultural references in MST span a vast arena. If all of the beloved TV shows, musical groups, City/State affiliations, actors/actresses, etc. that are sacred to the individuals who watch MST3K were to be off-limits, the show would be pretty hamstrung.

Crow's classic line "Just say 'no' to Yes" is slightly at odds with my musical tastes - "Owner of a Lonely Heart" is my favorite song of all time (of course, it's also the only Yes song that made it onto my favorites list).

Bill Corbett's trashing of the Smashing Pumpkins (see 'Time Chasers' and 'Track of the Moon Beast' for two good examples) clashed with my tastes personally but I took the jibes on the chin and was quite amused by his obvious distaste with the band. They're what we call a 'Marmite band' here in Blighty - you either love or hate, there's no sitting on the fence.

Poe33, I didn't mean that I agreed, I just meant that one person's 'off-limits for riffing' topic is another person's 'what a perfect subject to riff' dichotomy.
