The moon of earth. For several years, she has fascinated many. But will man ever walk on her fertile surface? Democratic hopeful Adlai Stevenson thinks so. As seen here. Without the moon, there would be no months. No tides. No werewolves. No lunatics. No place for cows to jump. No giant leaps for mankind. No cheese for Wallace. No moon rocks (oh wow!). And no comparisons of love to pizza pies. No rhymes for lazy poets and songwriters who want to croon a tune about making a girl swoon in June while eating prunes and macaroons with a spoon in Cancun, all while wearing a festoon and dancing a rigadoon on a pontoon, looking for doubloons and avoiding typhoons. Okay, one less rhyme. So give the moon its due! Vote for your favorite moon unit of our favorite show. Or else it's goodnight, moon.

Now here's a poll I can answer definitively.
No "moon" episode can top "Track of the Moon Beast." Although it's not universally loved, this is one of my favorite episodes ever. Crow in particular has a field day with this one, and the movie isn't painful enough to be unwatchable.

What a great list! Moon Zero Two is my #1 from season 1 and Project Moonbase is #2, Herc Against the Moon Men is my favorite Herc ep, 12 to the Moon is in my top 20, but Crash of the Moons is in my top 5, so Crash it is.
I love the Pointless Friday Poll.

I'm torn between Crash of the Moons and 12 to the Moon.
I love em both!
Okay I went with Crash... the Sgt Schultz factor.

As I've only seen Track Of The Moon Beast (I'm feeling like a bad fan) and it's a personal favorite, that's where my vote goes.
Corn...green peppers...*sigh* onions...

Crash. Cleolanta is certifiably crazy, but it seems like she wasn't acting. And how do Gypsy Moons support life, being on such eccentric orbits anyway?

Moon rocks? Oh wow! Any movie that gives me a stew recipe, a crazy high lady, 70's motorcycles, a pet lizard AND California Lady wins hands down. Think how much better Project Moonbase would have been if only it had had these ingredients.

Had to go with Hercules, there's something about hostile moon men who need our children's blood to survive that just amuses me. Plus, it always makes me want a chocolate bar.
Everybody must get stoned!

Great movies all but the best by far is 12 To the Moon. The ancient science, the multi-cultural crew, the traitorous frenchman (we have much better moons than you people), the stage lights on the moon....just an awesome episode.
A close second would definitely be Track of the Moon Base with Rocky JOnes and Crazy Clelanta a close third.

Make mine Moon Zero Two. If Josh and the guy from Andromeda Strain aren't enough, you still have that groovy opening theme.
