The greatest trick the devil ever pulled is convincing the world he doesn't exist.
Well I know he exists. And the existence of these movies proves it.
Okay, so these aren't the two worst films in MST3k history. But they're not good.
One is an Italian Jaws wannabe with seizure-inducing editing.
The other is yet another horribly boring sci-fi film featuring Gary Lockwood William Sylvester.
Neither actually features Mephistopheles, Lucifer, Azazel, Beelzebub, Screwtape, Pitch, Ned Flanders, or Bert Convy.
For yea, the devil may take many forms. So which form deserves your vote?
Vote quickly before he takes the opportunity to introduce himself again (hoo hoo).

Well, I never really got that much into Devil Fish, but I liked Devil Doll a lot. Therefore, I voted for the latter.

Not two of my favorites, but I liked DF better for riffing, I think.
Also, I could not figure out why people would pay money to see the Great Vorelli do his act. "You're about to get executed" Wow, what fun! Let me call Tickettron right now for my front-row seats. So the whole movie didn't work for me because I couldn't imagine Vorelli commanding that much attention and power. And of course, in comparison Devil Fish made lots of sense because here at the WOI, our only motive is profit and creating a giant shark/octopus is really profitable because, er, uh. Never mind. Well anyway, I voted for it.
Just because you CAN edit doesn't mean you have to.

I love them both, so it was a toss up. I ended up voting for "Peeee-duuur!" because it was behind by one vote. Solid reasoning.

Tough call, but I eventually went with the Devil Fish and Chips. I just need some vinegar and salt now.

You cannot beat a movie about a man who bickers with his vent dummy over ham and wine.

Devil Doll is one of my absolute favorites. So even though I kind of like Devil Fish, this is easy...

I haven't seen either in years, but Devil Doll made more of an impression on me.

They are both wretched movies, but adequate eps. I think Devil Doll is a better episode imho.

Devil Fish. Because WOI always reminded me of the local ABC affiliate WOI-5, the director reminded me of Joel McCrea, it's a Jaws ripoff, it was one of the first episodes I saw after I also got an Internet connection and was able to do Caption This! at the Sci-Fi board live to it and plus that guy hung one out. I didn't see The Great Vorelli hang one out for his movie! (Thank God!)

"Eh, his act's dyin', I'll go out and flash another cheek..."
Edit: it might actually say something about MST3K that a movie called "Santa Claus" features the Devil while a movie called "Devil Doll" does not...
