Anyone else see it? I thought it was really funny and very quotable. I think if MST was still around we'd start seeing references to this?
What did you think?

I liked this movie, and I thought the opening credits were really clever. (so clever, yes!) Definetly quotable...I quote it! But, then, what don't I quote? Well, if you haven't seen it I would recommend doing so, although I don't see it appealing very much to those over the age of 30...but that's just what I think...and since when does my opinion matter (as of now, dammit!)
What a friggin' idiot!

Yeah, I saw this during the summer. It was excellent. Part of the appeal was that Napoleon was a mixture of all the nerds and geeks that you knew during high school.
You could see little bits of different people you knew in him,

What do you mean, nerds that you knew? Well, there's bits of ALL of us in Napoleon. But, you have to admit, you'd be hard pressed to find any one person with all of those characteristics. I'm not gonna lie, I liked to dance like a spaz every now and then........... Still do Servo

What really made the film too was all the quirky supporting players. His friend Pedro was kind of underdevolped, but I heard the original short that predates the movie focused on him more. Anyone hear about this?
Anyway getting back, the other charcters like Uncle Rico, Dina, and Napoleon's brother, and Grandma were all interesting characters in their own right.
I'm not surprised that this had such universal appeal age wise. They managed to keep it very timeless. I spend the movie trying to figure out what year it was supposed to be. If not for the internet playing into the brother's plotline I was sure it was the 80's. But I guess the joke was that this was a really backwards town.
