Does anybody Remember Joel's project called TV Wheel? I just discovered it on a friends tape. It was tucked between two MST episodes. It was very psychedelic. I wish I had watched it in the 80's when I was hallicinating.

Yeah, I remember the TV Wheel. It was a pretty bizarre concept that didn't work just as often as it did. I'd love to see it again though....

I still find it funny that the name of the TV Wheel was the X-Box. Wonder why Joel never tried suing Bill Gates?

I've never seen it, does anyone know where I might be able to obtain a copy? What is it about? I've always heard about it but never seen it.

Servo It's a 29 minute and 30 second comedy show that takes place on a big "lazy susan" type of stage. It rotates with the camera positioned in the middle. There are many setups on the stage where other comediens and puppets preform what appears to be improvised, random skits and some really amazing forced perspective images. While watching it you feel like you've taken a tab of LSD.

I still find it funny that the name of the TV Wheel was the X-Box. Wonder why Joel never tried suing Bill Gates? Probably because Bill Gates has lawyers that are so high priced that they would be able to get out of it and counter sue Joel, to the point they own his soul and all episodes of MST3K (even though Jim Mallon owns them, Bill Gates has that power). Then gates would buy Roger Corman, Bert I. Gorden, Sandy Frank, and every other owner of movies that were on MST3K (not just there movies, but the people themselves). He'd then buy the rights 'Ed Wood' just because it's a movie about a bad director, then he'd buy Tim Burton and everyone of his films. At that point he'd buy out every 'Batman' movie or TV show plus Marvel comics and every movie made about one there comics. All that and he'd still not spent a tenth of his money. Yes, I have been drinking Egg Nog.

You can find The TV Wheel at the Digital Archive Project.

If only I could make use of this digital archive project. But alas, for reasons that I won't get into here and now, I can't.

DAP is not of much use if you have a dial up modem.

Heck, I've got a broadband connection and it's not of much use to me. Half the time you can't find anyone that has anything you need. And when you do, their connnection is so slow, it takes two days to download something.
Just my experience with the whole thing,

Yeah, I was all excited when I found the DAP but when I looked into it more it seemed to much trouble. I'd rather trade DVDs.

I'd rather trade VHS. It seems so rustic....

However, you can have it stored on your hard drive, and use them for stills, little clips, sound files, etc. Thats how I do my reviews, and thats how I can put so much multimedia content into my site.
