Has anyone seen this show? It's yet another funny British comedy show, in space! It has a star trek feel to it, except it's kinda low budget, but extremely hilarious! I used to be a big fan, but I forgot about it once I stopped watching PBS. So, thanks to the miracle of ShareReactor.com, i can download every episode, which I believe is like 10 seasons or so.

I like *Exactly* 50% of what I've seen of Red Dwarf. Half the time this show has me laughing, but the other half I just can't believe how lewd the thing is.
However, that's my problem with South Park, another pretty decent comedy. So this is probably a show that most people would enjoy if they gave it a chance.

I LOVE Red Dwarf! I can't beleive how short the seasons are tho, and for me it didn't really kick into high gear until Kryton became a regular on the show.
When Rimmer left it lost a bit of steam (That Rimmer song scene was hysterical!) but at its height it was one of the funnest things out there.

I used to make my step-dad laugh with my impersonation of Kryton laughing.

I bought the first 2 series on DVD (blind buy) and the show is fantastic. I love 80's niche shows and Red Dwarf has this scientific side to it that is great. I like Kat, he is like Little Richard on speed. Flat out awesome show!

From what I've heard, they are going to release a couple of seasons every year.
Seasons 1 & 2 - already out Seasons 3 & 4 - February 2004 Seasons 5 & 6 - 2005 Seasons 7 & 8 - 2006
This is for region 1 dvds, the UK version of the discs get released a couple of months prior to the US.

I recently discovered that I still have both of their blooper tapes! They are the funniest "smeg-ups" i've ever seen! WAY funnier than the Poopie tapes.

I found this old thread and just wanted to say I am a fan of this show, too. I first saw it around the same time I first saw MST3K, '93 or '94, maybe even earlier. There is a big fanbase for the show in Seattle, which is where I grew up. I need to get the DVD sets of it.
