I'll have to give "Phantom Planet" another look. I've only seen it once, and don't remember being bowled over by it. But I've seen it mentioned positively a few times on this board so maybe I'll try to pop it in over the weekend. "Honey bunches of DEATH!" ...perhaps best line in the episode

And what was the name of that show that showed the Japanese game show (or whatever it was) and dubbed in their own dialogue (I think they did, can't really remember the details....). MXC: Most Extreme Elimination Challange. Dubbed version of Takeshi's Castle en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MXCif you like mst3k- you should find this show amusing. ;D

Volume 9 is tops for me. But if i was to reccomend a newbie to buy a set- i'd go with 4.

to quote #1 above. I started watching during say season 9 on Sci-Fi and I had No idea what was going on cause the episodes were out of chronological order.. But i find the CC era host segments more consistently funny than the sci-fi. Though Sci-Fi had a few classics.

And of course we don't know what the next movies will be- if theyre not horror-ish they might not be so bad. Legacy of blood's incest subplot is slightly disturbing.
