Thom Christopher, who played Troxartas in Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell has rejoined the cast of the soap opera "One Life to Live". Christopher is reprising his roll of bad guy Carlo Hesser that won him the Daytime Emmy in 1992 and another nomination a year later. He made his first appearance on June 8th. No word as to whether he put the beats in his own script or not....

I wonder if he's bald or is wearing a toupee. Wait, he's a badguy on a soap opera... he's bald.

Somehow I'm not all that surprised he'd be in a soap opera.

Somehow I'm not all that surprised he'd be in a soap opera. Hey, don't knock it. Michael Zazlow (the first Red Shirt ever killed in Star Trek) made a good living playing Roger Thorpe on "Guiding Light" and a concert pianist named David on OLTL for years before his death from Lou Gehrig's Disease. Christopher is a great bad guy...when he's got a decent script. He was also good playing Hawk on the old "Buck Rogers" TV show.

First of all, I've been watching One Life to Live since Dark Shadows was on!
Thom Christopher plays mob don Carlo Hesser on OLTL, and even played his own twin brother, Mortimer at one point! (He was wonderful as both!! Both were totally distinct characters!) I certainly hope they never kill him off, because he is a WONDERFUL villian.
No one menaces quite like Carlo!! A the present writing, Carlo has mastermined a prison riot. Mahem ensues.

First of all, I've been watching One Life to Live since Dark Shadows was on! Omigod! So you remember Meredith and the Wolecks and Carla (who was passing for white until her mother came to town) and all of that? I loved Dark Shadows too...I'm so pissed at the Sci-Fi Channel for dropping that too.

Rebel, when I started watching Gillian Spencer (who went on to do Daisy Cortland on AMC, as well and produce and write several soaps) was Vicki/Nicki.
It took me awhile to warm up to Erika slezak.

And I heard she's knocked up and now there's going to be this big thing about is it Antonio's (who's in love with Jessica) or the preppy guy's (who's in love with Tess)? I haven't been able to watch in a long while...

Duke's of Hazzard Movie... Lost In Space Movie Bewitched Movie... Addams Family Movie... Honeymooners Movie... Leave it to Beaver Movie... Mission Impossible Movie... ya' know?

I just hope it won't take as long to find out what caused Jess to split as it did to find out why Viki did...

In my mind, Thom Christopher will never be anything but Hawk from Buck Rogers unfortunate final season(s).
Of course, my wife does corral me into watching OLTL on occasion, and he does make a good bad guy. Also... I'm shocked it took so long for the writers to give Jessica the same dual personality crap as her mother. (I don't really keep up on the show on a regular basis anymore... it's been all downhill since the original Todd left... he was one of my favorite TV characters of all time, daytime, primetime or otherwise)
