Cheap Seats (which features the Skalr Brothers doing MST3K with sports) debuted a new season tonight.
They say some of their best stuff is in this season, so if you only liked Cheap Seats before, you should check it out. Remember, this would be like their season two (which is when MST3K came into it's own). Last season was season one, and their first season was of course the KTMA. So I suggest checking it out.

No MST but still a funny little show. Well worth the time.

I love Cheap Seats, but where i live we don't get ESPN Classic. Any chance of a tape trade for that show until they release a DVD set?
I only trade episodes that are not available for sale. I think MST3K are very generous about their attitude toward trading tapes, and I think that's it's only fair to limit ourselves in that manner.

I heard them on the Jim Rome Show yesterday morning, but circumstances prevented me from seeing the season opener last night. I'll have to check when it will play again.

Watched the season premier last night as I had recorded it. Good episode. I guess they did away with the live audience thing. Fine with me.

Damn it was last night?
BTW, it will not replay tonight or tomorrow night.

I watched it on Tuesday night. They are really coming into their own, using their strengths in dry sarcasm and wry observation, and leaving the more theatrical stuff behind. I gotta say the blind spotter skit didn't work, but their riffing of the "sports" event was great.

I first heard about these guys on the Jim Rome Show so i thought I'd check it out. It must be an aquired taste because, although the premise was good, (MST3K with sports) ,I just found them kind of annoying. Their voices are so similar, it's like listening to someone talking to themselves.
I dunno' I don't think I'd watch again, there's just something missing in the delivery. Now put The Crew on this project, and it would be fabulous.

According to www.cheapseats.tv/, a new season of Cheap Seats begins April 17th. I have enjoyed the show and am glad it has been renewed. I expect it to continue to get better and better. Check it out!

My Cabler doesn't provide the station so I don't get to see it very much. I watched the Cat Show ep at You Tube and that was hysterical.
Their voices are too similar and they are not up to MST3K standards, but it's pretty fun and when they get on a roll they are very funny indeed. If they ever release a DVD set I'd buy 'em.
