Amazon.com has cut the prices on MST3K DVD Collections Vol. 1 - 5 to $26.47 each, and cut the standalone MST3K DVDs to $9.47 each. (Vol. 6 - 8, though, are still at full price). How long these prices last is anyone's guess. Amazon.com MST3K DVD Search Results

I've got Volume 5 on the way from them...it left Jacksonville, FL yesterday (I'm in Fort Lauderdale).
As for the rest of them, they were too late...already finished my single title collection through Deep Discount's 20% off sale.
Maybe they'll get my business when the first three seasons of "The X-Files" are re-released at a reduced price at the end of January...

Yeah, I have them all too, but think I may pick up a couple of the standalones to give away as Xmas gifts. Everybody I know turns their nose up at MST3K...and makes fun of me for liking it. I asked my Ex-boyfriend to record part of Turkey Day one year (because our cable didn't run Comedy Central 24 hrs).... He gave me the tape with a label on it marked "Wierd poopie" (his spelling). One of the many reasons he's my Ex...

Well, based upon the notice here, I ordered six DVDs with the discounted prices. They came last night. The Hellcats DVD was cracked. I'm sure it was a shipping issue, and I will go through the process of returning this and getting a new one...I'll keep you posted.

Okay, I went to the returns section at amazon.com, printed-out a return label, and will send it via USPS free of charge. So far...so good. More later...

Woo-hoo! My first post!
If all else fails, always give Overstock.com a shot. They usually sell the sets for around $36. Their stock is constantly changing, so you never know what they'll have or whether they'll have a large selection or not. I know that they do sell out of the sets pretty quickly.
Right now, the Amazon.com deals have been the best I've seen in a while.

I had been working a lot of o/t. So I did the right thing with my extra cash. I went to Amazon.com and got Vol. 1,3,4 & 5. I think I am going to wait and see if Vol. 6 - 8 drop to that price too.

Just wanted to add that the deals are perm ( I would guess) and still in place. I'll proably fill the 3 sets i need over the next couple of months (5 is a low proirty as I have Mem and Girl, and Hamlet is apparently the worst ever,) The first two are my main goals)

Heh, I've been snapping these things up like crazy - in the last two weeks, I've bought "Mitchell", "Red Zone Cuba", "The Brain That Wouldn't Die", and Volumes 1 and 2. I'm thinking of limiting myself to one purchase a week from now on, though (my checking account is somewhat limited).
