Not sure if anyone has mentioned this one yet, but in one of the episode commentaries, the actor who plays the character of Jim in NBCs "The Office" (Tuesday, 9:30pm. VERY funny) mentions MST. It's not much, but it caught me offguard and made my liking of his character, and his true personality, even greater.

Cuz that would make sense, what with the MST3K: TM poster in 40 Year Old Virgin.

Nah. Steve Carrell plays the dimwitted boss, Michael Scott. Jim is the lead male who works there that ISN'T a baffoon, the lone normal male.
I made the same connection with the 40 Year Old Virgin though. It's probably a cooincidence, but seems Steve can't work on any project without at least one MSTie.

I think the original Britcom version of "The Office" is better. I've seen a few episodes of the American version, and barely laughed.

What did he say about our beloved cow town puppet show? Actaully I think his comment showed he knew a lot about MST3K. One of the other guys did a female voise over for the main female cast member (who wasn't there) and he said "That sounds like a MST3K voice" which when I listen to it, it sounds remarkibly like the fake women voice that Crow or Joel would have used while riffing.
