Nice! I love those Pop Ink books.
The first one, "Happy Kitty Bunny Pony," is probably my fave, but they're all good.

I agree with Shep.
Can't wait to get it. But I've yet to see on the shelves of any bookstore. So I'll have to do Amazon (and think of something else in the $10 range to get the free shipping)

Time for a new film review book, Mike. These books are okay, but it's not what he does best.

I was at a Barnes & Noble this weekend and saw Mike's Love Sick book. First time I've seen one on the shelves. So far I've bought them all from Amazon.

I still haven't read any of the Pop Ink books. It sounds like a good idea, but I'm still reluctant to buy it. I've loved his other books (Mind Over Matters especially) - I'm just not sure what to think about these.

Anybody heard anything on this? Amazon says it isn't out yet and I checked at B&N and few other places, and they don't even have the title in their systems.

Unfotunately, this has happened a couple times with earlier books in this series. My contact says the book is on it's way, but wouldn't explain the delay in the release.

And of course you can see how well my super-secret spy info has payed off. Now if they'd just release the book I'd be happy.

Well....I finally received my copy of Fluffy Humpy Poopy Puppy. Better late than never.
Just thought I'd let everyone know it is officially released now.

Thanks, I just ordered it from Strand Books (Being a Washintonian these days, Amazon charges me tax - so I order out of state and cheaper now). Got it fo $11.50 after shipping.
It's interesting that I saw where James Lileks talks about his good friend Mike Nelson's new job at Legend. Because Mike's popink books reminds me of Lileks work. Both are funny as hell.
And thank God for Mike, he's keeping me busy with reviews so my site stays fresh and updated.

Just read your review on "Fluffy...Puppy", MJ. Spot on!
Some great bits, bit overall maybe just bit of a let down.
Still definitely worth a look.
