50 Foot Woman, but any of those would be great.

50 Foot Woman, but any of those would be great. Okay, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman is NOT public domain. So, that's not an option. I know everyone thinks this is a good choice, and I do, too, but since it's not public domain, Legend won't be able to work on it.

Well....maybe for once Legend can actually pay licencing fees? I mean, they are a division of Fox. Rupert Murdoch can empty out the pockets of his golf pants and probably come up with the money....

Legend is also doing a special right now for the month of June where you can get the last two movies Mike commentated for, Plan 9 and Little Shop, for a lower price, plus a issue of Screem magazine (which I'd never heard of.) I already have both but if you don't it might be a good opportunity to obtain them.

I've heard Mike will be doing commentary for Swing Parade, a movie featuring the Three Stooges, for Legend. Anybody seen this one before? www.imdb.com/title/tt0039003/I once got that in a set of PD Stooges material - liked it a lot (despite the set's overall crappy audio and video quality on all of the material); even the segments that the Stooges weren't in were pretty good. Where did you hear that rumor? This would be a great title for Legend to restore and colorize. I think the part about the Mike commentary is false, though, since it doesn't really fit in with the other releases with Mike's commentary, since it's not a cult film. It would probably be some kind of introduction thing, like the Film Crew intros on Legend's "Three Stooges In Color" disc.

I voted for Last Man on Earth. Haven't seen it but liked the Omega Man I think that Last Man on Earth might be a better movie than The Omega Man. Then again, both are good. There are some things about the original that I really like, and there are some things about the remake that I really like. Quality-wise, both are excellent films. Last Man on Earth would definitely be an interesting release for Legend. I'd like to see them tackle a movie that was shot in widescreen. Up until now, all of Legend's releases have been of movies shot flat (i.e., in fullscreen, to be cropped to 1.85 upon theatrical release). Last Man on Earth is true widescreen - 2.35:1.

But didn't Last Man on Earth have real zombies....and Omega Man only have black women bleached white? (never saw the second one)

Terror of Tiny Town - All "little person" western made in the 1930's. Are you kiddin' me, Pyle? But, no, the short jokes would get awfully tiresome. The movie itself is pretty tiresome. IIRC, this was pushed on the Brains and rejected for the MST3K treatment, so I wouldn't cound on this anyway, assuming Mike actually has a say in it. And I don't think Legend is a division of Fox. I may be wrong, I think Fox just releases their DVDs. I'd say Dementia 13. Could be interesting and is in line with what they seem to be going for (PD staples that are cult classics and half way decent flicks...Reefer Madness excluded.)

I don't think Legend is a division of Fox. I may be wrong, I think Fox just releases their DVDs. Legend isn't a division of Fox. You're not wrong there. And not all of their releases have been distributed by Fox. Carnival of Souls was released by another company (can't remember the name), and Plan 9 and The Little Shop of Horrors were released by Genius Entertainment (Genius is also distributing DVD releases for The Weinstein Company, and several other high-profile clientele). There have been other Legend Films releases that have been distributed by other companies, but I'm only going to mention the Mike Nelson ones here.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong....
Just thought that since Fox put their logo all over them and did disclaimers in their name when other distributors don't seem to that they had an ownership stake in the discs...

ATTACK OF THE 50FT WOMAN isn't public domain, it's owned by Warner.
Doing THE LAST MAN ON EARTH would be totally pointless, since MGM has already released a nice widescreen DVD of it using the original materials (Hell, even Madacy has a nice widescreen DVD of it!).

Is there any way to take the "50ft Woman" option off, so that nobody else can vote on it?
