On DVD is being released on Halloween. I mean, did this really need to be double-dipped?

Strange, the "Special Edition" is cheaper than the standard edition.
I wonder what's going to make it "Special"? Maybe a "Let's see how Michael Bay ripped us off" featurette.
Between this and the Time Chasers SE, it looks like MSTied movies are doing pretty well for themselves.

There's a thread over at the RiffTrax board about Hobgoblins 2, although they don't provide a link to verify it. I have the old Parts DVD. I wonder what will be different.

Funny, I just ordered Parts a few weeks ago from Suncoast too...
Anyways, here's what the back of my DVD says for features:
Anamorphic 16:9 transfer from negative Interview with director Robert S Fiveson Director's audio commentary Trailer Mondo Macabro Previews
Now, what the special edition says on the Deep Discount site:
Widescreen - 1.66 Audio Commentary Interviews - Robert Fiveson - Director Trailers - Theatrical Trailer
Looks like the same stuff that I already have.
I still want Time Chasers on DVD, and that Hobgoblins 2 info looks interesting...

The commentary and documentary on the original disc were really cool and very insightful. I was working at a video store when it came out and i used to watch it at night with the cmmentary on.

The commentary and documentary on the original disc were really cool and very insightful. I was working at a video store when it came out and i used to watch it at night with the cmmentary on. When it comes down to it, Parts is a pretty great concept, and when I get a chance I am going to purchase the DVD. I appreciate it a lot when a movie tries to say something and succeeds despite the low budget and limitations that it endures. Can't tell you how many high-budget blockbusters have absolutely no message or depth...but you all know that as well as I do, I'm sure. Of course, when you are big-budget guys and need a little soul to your movie - steal it from a low-budget 70s movie. Nobody will EVER notice....
