Don't get me wrong, i'm thankful for this. Hell, i'm ecstatic! But I just don't think it would be that difficult to make it an MST3K release. MST had a team of writers, a cast, a makeup team, props workshop, costumes, camera crew, etc. As cheap as it looked, it cost money to produce. Film Crew is something that Mike Bill and Kevin can do, I'm guessing, pretty much on their own without raising money or hiring a hundred people. Well, I meant just get the bots and mike and sillhoutte them. No host segments or anything, so there would be no need for at least half the things you just listed. However, as was pointed out, Mallon would have to be involved. Ah well. I suppose I should be content.

Also, Joel still gets a kick back from MST3K sales. It's kind of nice though to have the segments to break up and frame the movie. Plus with stuff like this you kind of miss all of what Joel devised to frame MST, such as the sillouettes, the doorway sequence, and of course Crow and Servo who are great characters.
But the clips of each of these were really, really funny. Especially Hollywood After Dark. Hopefully they'll think of other low-budget extras they can put with the DVD. I always thought Killers from Space was a hilarious movie and I was surprised MST3K passed it up, they had to have been offered it. Hopefully these will do well and more people will hire them to do commentaries and they can do non-Public Domain movies. I'm really surprised noone outside of Legend has asked them to do a commentary track.

Yeah I can't agree with you Forrest, I thought Killers was a riot and would be perfect for them. In fact It was one my my picks in my Mythic MST3K season articles.

Any one of those would be good. The birth of film crew and death of rifftrax.

Any one of those would be good. The birth of film crew and death of rifftrax. I sure hope not! The Film Crew and RiffTrax, while similar do have important differences. RiffTrax does films that you can easily be found at the video store while the films that the Film crew are doing are more obsecure.

Aw hell yeah, this is awesome!!! I voted for Wild Women of Wongo. An experiment where they made the women "not beautiful"? What horrors will the human race think up next?

I just finished watching a clip of "Giant of Marathon" and it seems like it might be just as bad as an average Hercules movie.
Also the Italians making the film misspronounced Philippidis. It's supposed to be Fee-lee-PEE-thees. ("TH" as in the, there).
Great riffs!
