Swamp Diamonds is PD, Teen-Age Strangler is also out from Something Weird Video (who appear to only have copyright on their special edition of it), and Giant Spider Invasion was licensed from Retromedia (who I believe licensed it from Bill Rebane); it's a bit sketchy, since BCI also has a DVD out (Retro's is out of print).

So is it too late for us late-comers on this? I just heard about this and after checking a couple of sites and its not available on them. I guess I'll have to look around in a brick-and-mortar store but I have no idea who would carry it around here as I haven't found a place that does carry MST3k since Media Play went under here (and they were much more expensive anyways)

Finally got some info back from DVDplayground.com. My Vol. 10 is on back order. When I wrote and asked them about if Rhino was sending more, etc., they said they were unaware of any discontinuation and that their regular order was in. They apparently don't have any info on it, either.
Personally, I'm a little exhausted from looking around. Things seem to be picked pretty clean online. I'll have to check out some brick and mortar places this weekend. I'd check sooner, but it's 30 miles to the closest Wal-Mart around here. Maybe luck will come through and this is all a big misunderstanding.
I'm not holding my breath, though :/
EDIT: Finally found one today (Nov. 4) at a Best Buy about 60 miles from home. But I have it. One more worry I can put to bed.

Have you tried Best Buy, Circuit City, FYE or Suncoast? It would be most expensive at FYE & Suncoast (about $60) so I'd check with Best Buy/Circuit City first.

Amazon still has some decently priced ones in the Used section. Most are listed as being 'brand new', as well.

The Barnes and Noble store near me still has two copies of Volume 10 on their shelves, you can try them as well.

I figure the sellers there are mostly small enough to actually have them in stock in order to be offering them. I also tend to find the prices better there than on eBay. Cause eBay sucks!

A lot of the eBay sellers seem pretty clueless about pricing, starting their bids at or around the same price you can buy them for at Amazon and the like. Sometimes you can find some good deals on the singles, though.

Well I just ordered it off of Amazon. I got the confirmation emailed back to me saying they would ship it Nov. 7th-13th. It never said anything about being out of stock or on back order or anything.

I had pre-ordered it from Amazon.
I like them a lot.

If there is no comment from Rhino about the elimination of Vol. 10, then how do we know what the problem is (was)?

If there is no comment from Rhino about the elimination of Vol. 10, then how do we know what the problem is (was)? Because of what we know about the Godzilla films. Toho is very touchy and they don't throw around the rights to them lightly. It was a shock when Rhino announced the episode would be released, and it would not be at all surprising to find the Toho had either changed their mind, or cracked down on a not entirely kosher deal Rhino may or may not have made with Lord knows who. It's all speculation, but it's not wild speculation - there is reasoning behind it.

It's still available at Amazon. I just got around to ordering it. Mitchell ordered it for me recently (see last week's contest) and I think he said it was on backorder or something. I would assume that's what "within 5 to 10 days" implies. Dammit, I hate not knowing what's going on.

Well I can handle it being on backorder, I'm patient. I just want to make sure that I get it before they decide to pull the plug for good.
