Here are the rules again:

You watch FINAL SACRIFICE or you remember it from last time, whatever.

You rate said episode using a 1 to 10 rating. 1 being, "This episode totally sucks! It is so bad it physically hurt me!" and 10 being "One of the best episodes I’ve ever seen in my life!”

Then you tell me and everyone reading this post why that episode deserves that rating, whether it be good or bad. Go into as much or as little detail as you want, but more is always more entertaining.

I'll go first:
I love this one, it is a great episode from the SciFi era, and its done almost perfectly. It is home to my favorite host segment of all time, the immortal Canada Song. The riffing is great, the characters are all weird and unusual, and Mike Pipper is the funniest guy in the world. The Yosemite Sam riffs were always cracking me up. Now for the not great things about the episode. First, while the Canada Song was great, the rest of the host segments were forgettable. Also, the credits start off great, I was really expecting a hilarious Rowsdower song lasting the whole credits, instead we get Mike and Crow in a very unfunny TV show pitching parody. I didn’t like it. But even with these minor disappointments, its still a wonderful episode. A 9 out of 10.

No game next week, Its close to summer vacation and I don’t have time for it, not that you guys seem to like it that much anyway. If someone wants to do it for the 3 months I’ll be gone, that’s fine, but whatever.

10. definitely the highlight of season 9. the end credits where Mike is the tv exec and Crow proposes the tv version of Final Sacrifice is probably the funniest end credits for MST. "The name goes. We need something that'll seduce people like Night Mistress or Cloochie and the Lieutenant. And that kid, what's his name, Sparky McHooihan?" Not the mention the Prospector scene, Rowsdower, the Canada Song, etc.... This is definitely in my top 15.

I can see what you mean, the Final Sacrifice is REALLY REALLY hyped, and while I do love it. Its definately not a 10 for me.

Another overrated episode in my opinion, MANOS, man is that movie boring. Just that whole episode is boring to me anyway. But to each his own. Live and let live, I say.

I don't know. This movie depressed me no end. I don't know what part of Canada it was filmed in, but it was sure dreary. It had all the hallmarks of being filmed around some landfill or dump somewhere in Fall after all the leaves have fallen off the trees and 6 months winter lays ahead! The "stars" are completely forgetable and the villian doesn't inspire anything other than pity for a misshapen head and bad dental work. The model work in this movie is terrible. What is that stupid totem anyway? Riffing and host segments are mostly forgettable. The Canada Song is kinda cute, but that's not enough to sustain an hour and 44 minutes of viewing time. Sorry folks. Maybe I need to watch this some more and let it grow some mold on my back-bacon.

6.5/10, plus a bonus point if I'm feeling especially vicious and want to laugh at the idea of that stringy kid and the large drunk attempt to carry a film again.
