You know, in this bad old world, at least there's a few tireless souls who actually do the right thing. Most of the time. Within their limits. But they DO do the right thing, Damnit, and that's what's important!
In the spirit of goodness, this edition of All We Have is dedicated to those MST'd movie characters who actually were decent, upstanding, and moral. Though they may come off as naive or funny, they meant well at the time and the film clearly wanted to establish that this person was an ethical rock. So join me in misplaced optimisim and nominate your favorite goody two shoes!
Bonus question: Who is/was your mentor?

I'll Tell! Mooo-ooom! Winners!
Ah, the wussiness of our Heros! They never fail to dissappoint, do they? I'm suprised all of our nominees didn't recieve big juicy closeups of tears running down their sniveley, weak-chinned little faces! And the winner with the wussiest is...........
MISS_INTEROCETER!
Your description of the "slap the water, it'll cry!" fight between Victor and Bob wins you a complete radiation jumpsuit and accessories, including heels and nails! Hypnotize at will!
Coming in a close second is Blurryeye, with her complete outline of Nick and his blandness and how that blandness renders nothing! You win a Yugo and some maple syrup. Don't spill it on your cute top!
Uncledad and quamp each win a Chess King jacket and CD of Inappropriate Music and Sound Effects. Wear and play for hours of fun!
Everybody play again this week!

He was an odd character, but that guy in The Dead Talk Back who preached constantly. He did everything morally, I think...he was a Bible-thumper, after all. hehe.

I'd nominate the napping grandfather in Teenage Crime Wave who was reading the Bible every chance he got when awake, or the diner owner who rescued our wandering Jimmy in I Accuse My Parents and gave him a job as long as he promised to go to church every week. Both decent good men whose approach to life even back then seemed so anachronistic and out of step with the times.

By no means my favorite character in the movie or example of this type of character, she definitely stands out though. Nurse "Super Mavis" Osborne or whatever her name really was, Miss Marsh maybe. Anywho, she was the nurse who just had to bandage up Thor in Teenagers From Outer Space instead of leaving him to bleed to death on the doorstep. I think Dr. Charles Shultz said it best when he said, "My nurse, she didn't know. She bandaged him. He revived." Yes. Yes. All the while the unwitting accomplice of a muhdewha. Do you hear me? A MUHDEWHA! Later she even takes two for the team rather than have Thor kill again. A painful pistol whipping and a tumble on gravel! from a car. The sisters from Girls Town weren't even that good!

There are quite a number of these people around here, but I've got to go with the following...
The somewhat creepy detective Anderson ("Anderson, that's me") from Teenage Strangler. He seemed tough and rough on the outside, but you could tell inside he was doing what he thought was right to keep the kids safe from the strangler.

My hero is the coolest character in any MST experiment! The most awesome and compelling figure ever! I am speaking of the mighty and majestic MEGA-WEAPON! From Warrior of the Lost World, Mega-Weapon clearly has the most class of anyone in that stunted, deformed film. I'd like to drive Mega-Weapon to school! We'd hang out together and he'd really like me! With the power of regeneration to overcome the machinations of the Paper Chase guy, it is all part of the magic that is Mega-Weapon. Slainte'!

Grampa in "Teenagers From Outer Space" is just too bloody good to be true. I mean I love the guy, I wish he was my grandpa because he's nice to everyone.
He lets an alien live rent free
He lets you play "Pull my finger" even tho he's missing one.
and he's even sweet to the "obviously a jackass" Thor. Treats him like an old friend and even unwittingly aids him in his murder spree... "Oh they've gone swimming son, I'm sure they wont mind you stopping by with your death ray"
"Oh you just missed them, why don't you go see the professor and turn him into a sack of bones"
I can almost envision this... "Kick me in the cahona's, why go right ahead son"
Gramps is an angel. In fact, the whole dang town is filled with nice folks. I need to move there someday.

Robert Forsythe in "Kitten with a Whip." Obviously he is trying to do the right thing by Ann Margaret's character. I don't think Jesus Christ would have had that kind of patience with such a psychopath!

It's got to be Max Keller. That guy would do anything, help a union form for Crystal Bernard, save Demi Moore's airport, and help The Master find his long lost daughter. "How do I get myself in these situations?!" You're a bad actor!! And he has a gerbil. He has to be too good to be true.
Ahh, who'm I kidding. He did all that crap so he could get him some. It's funny, Lee always ended up cooler than him, and more likely to get a chick, even though he was fat and bald.
