From their second album, imaginatively called "Queen II", which came out the year before "A Night At the Opera" and Bohemian Rhapsody. Nevermore was linked to this on the album so it was nice to find a video with both of them together although it isn't seamless here. There's actually another song linked before these two but I might use it by itself if my turn comes at O sometime. If you think the cover for "Queen II" looks familiar, that's because the idea for the beginning and end of the video for Bohemian Rhapsody was to bring this album cover to life. The cover in turn was inspired by an old black and white photo of Marlene Dietrich. The song itself was inspired by a painting and poem by Richard Dodd that inspired Freddie.
And the painting with the song:

Seems kind of strange to hear this song without having Living Loving Maid come right after it, which is how I always hear it on the car radio.

I posted Venus from Holst's "The Planets" before, so now here's Jupiter played by the Marine Corps Band. I thought that was cool.
Incidentally, the new avatar cat is my sister's cat Milo. She got custody of the cat and the kerchief I originally sent them for their dog in the divorce. She and my niece and their two cats still live in Arkansas.

Not the entire scene, but enough to get the flavor of it. And, of course, the guy talking to Cary Grant is Malcolm Atterbury, better known to MSTies as Depressed Dad from High School Big Shot and Tony's Dad in I Was a Teenage Werewolf, not to mention a ton of other movie and TV roles.

If you've never listened to the entire "A Night at the Opera" album you might think that Bohemian Rhapsody was the longest song on it. Well, it isn't and it arguably isn't even the oddest song on the album. The Prophet's Song is about 2 minutes longer than Bohemian Rhapsody and also takes a kind of left turn into strangeness along the way. I still like it, though. And I already posted Love of My Life but on the album these two songs are linked together so there you go.

Slightly edited for profanity and the poster had to work around the copyright, but still good. I still highly recommend the entire musical.
