There are a number of players on board so I thought we could check in with what we played. Maybe we could form a virtual band. I call dibs on rhythm guitar and Dylanesque vocals. I favor a Telecaster through a Gibson Falcon amp. I'm tube tied, nothing but old amps for me. Let's Rock!

I'll throw in the horns and vocals. Horns for the jazz and blues and vocals for the rock and roll baby.

Hey, with horns we can play the jazzy "Secret Agent Super Dragon" theme.

Hell yeah, now where's the keytarist for "Idiot Control Now"? Then we'd be set.

Yes, an old problem with amps but I'm not sure what you can do about it. But the crackling might just be a dirty pot. Take off the knob and spray some cleaner in it. It could be that simple.

Now that I think about it the radio problem might be an unshieded cable acting as an antena. Have you tried a new guitar cable?

Oh, yeah, I have a fender with an amp that works find with me, a extremly messed-up acoustic, a bad keyboard that I never use, and drumsticks. I also have a capo, a wah-wah pedal and a tuner. [glow=green,2,300]LET US ROCK!!![/glow] (plays Pixies, "Here comes your man") EDIT: I didn't mean to put that wink there.

Sounds like the band needs a drummer. Count me in. I've been drumming since I was 7 (that's over 20 years to you and me).
I also play some piano in the style of Ben Folds, but I will not play the keyboard on the strap like a guitar (the keytar?) for all the groupies in Chicago.
As for the guitar discussion, I'm with you phantom, a Fender through a tube amp is the most perfect sound on earth. Especially if tremolo is involved. I usually tell guitarists I know, "Experiment with other stuff all you want, but you always go back to Fender."

I played trombone for 8 years, so count me in if we do some ska songs.
