You poor thing.
I'd rather pour salty lemonade in an open wound.

Saw The Wedding Crashers and liked it more than I expected. Vince Vaughn steals the whole movie, in a way playing the same character from Swingers, only 10 years older. And Owen Wilson is pretty funny too, although he plays it the same as every comedy he's been in. There is some unfortunate overacting by some of the supporting actors and the ending is unfortunately Tootsie-esque public confession suckage, but these stumbles aren't enough to sink the whole movie. So, definitely worth-seeing, but at matinee prices.

Was anyone else forced to see dukes of hazzard? *cries* At least I didn't have to pay... I'm Southern and even I'm not going to see MTV presents: The Dukes of Hazzard. I love Burt and all, but, Boss Hogg not being fat kinda defeats the purpose for me. And they had Joe Don at their disposal too! Servo

Was anyone else forced to see dukes of hazzard? *cries* At least I didn't have to pay... The only kinda mainstream movies I've liked this summer have been Land of the Dead, Dark Water and The Devil's Rejects (which was so wrong, and yet so enjoyable). Those are the 3 films I want to see. C'mon, Cheap Theater!

Saw March of the Penguins (the American version with Morgan Freeman narration).
Very impressive documentary. What those penguins go through every year for mating season is just amazing! Incredibly freezing temperatures and no food for months at a time, and then on top of that, having to protect an egg/hatchling from the cold at the same time.
I've read that the original French version personifies individual penguins, which sounds a bit silly, so I'm glad the American version just replaces this with narration by Morgan Freeman (aka "Mr. Narration").
One of the better movies I've seen in what has been a surprisingly strong Summer.

Well I feel like the 1 guy who payed full price to see "MANOS" the hands of fate just because he had nothing better to do. For goodness sake no matter what you do, DON"T SEE SKY HIGH. It's like a modern day Prince of space. With effects just as good as prince of space! Half way through the film I helped myself by going to the bathroom. I slowly walked.......took my time.........walked slowly back.......and the same darn scene was going on!!!! And at the end the school falls from the sky and, they all sink to the ground! If you were falling that fast you'd be on the ceiling!!! That's a basic law of gravity!Proof that they just didn't care! oh...why Joel....why? Here's a few MST lines that went through my head while watching: "They forgot to have something happen in this movie" -Mike "Is it to early to kill myself?" -Tom "Say the end. Say it! were leaving anyways!" -Joel and Crow "they just didn't care!" -Crow,Joel, and Tom
