I've made it known very well that I don't much care for comic book movies. There are the occasional ones that are alright. I wanna know what's your favorite comic book movie ever made?

My oh my, this is a tough one. Love the campy 60's Batman. The rest were pretty meh for me. Love Spider-Man and X-Men, sequels even moreso. Constantine blew. Daredevil and Hulk couldn't hold my attention. Fantastic Four I enjoyed. (though the bootleg was super! haha) I liked the Punisher, don't care what anyone says! Noticed The Crow isn't on there, which I also liked. The second one was crap, couldn't bring myself to watch the third. From Hell was also ungodly boring, didn't do the book justice. Ghost World I can never decide whether I like it or not, I may need to read it to get a full feel for it.
So, yeah.

The original "Superman" because Brando was great in that.

Batman Returns. Because it has nothing to do with Batman or comics. This is easily my fav of the Batman films. I love the scene where the Penguin is addressing the troops (real penguins). "It's okay to be scared. Some of you won't be coming back...". LOL

Sin City by far. As I made known with my post about it after I saw the film in the theater I thought it was superb. Can't wait for the DVD next month! Batman Begins, The Tim Burton Batman films, and the Spiderman films are my next choices...In that order.

good god I like so many of those movies but for sentimental purposes, all I will say is KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!

hrmm.. had to go with SPIDERMAN 2 b/c it not only has bruce guest appearing again, but it's theme song is by dashboard confessional-- any film which can get DC to write/perform a song for them is extremely kewl in my book (he even did one for SHREK 2-- the man gets around, people!).

Hellboy was great IMO.
Blade II was up there and I haven't seen Batman Begins yet

Mystery Men. Came along at a time when comic book movies weren't popular and it was funny in an offbeat cult kind of way.
I also liked the Punisher. *shrug* Maybe its because it was filmed here in Tampa, or maybe I just have bad taste. I still like it...

Wait....no Ninja Turtles flicks? Where's the love for Mirage Comic Books!
But seriously, it's a close one between Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins at the moment, though I've not seen Constantine or Hell Boy, and figure that I should give them a chance before I commit to anything (not that I've read those comics or know anything about them).

I liked Hellboy (out of the listed ones) the most. I also enjoyed the X-Men movies (Patrick Stewart is professor Charles Xavier!). I understand that 'Sin City' was really good, but I've never read any of the comics.

"Ghostworld" was originally a comic book/graphic novel.
That was a pretty good one, too.
