I'm guessing actually the last one will win, since there is a lot of anti-Stalloneism around, but I still think he's a good action star. Either way, which film series would you deem the best for whatever reason. Or who would win in a fight.
Sadly, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot never became a series.

I thought Stallone did some decent acting in the original "Rocky" and in "Copland." Otherwise, am not a big fan.

The first Rocky was good. Burgess Meredith made that film awsome in my opinion. I'm not a huge Stallone fan either, but I do like Rocky, and Rocky IV for some reason...
I really haven't seen too many more Stallone movies, or if I have, I just don't remember them.

Gotta go with Rocky, although option 3 sounded good too.

I voted for Rambo. I love First Blood. I think it is a great movie. I don't think Sly had to do much "acting" in it, just run around and kick butt.
Other than that I don't really care for him.

Stallone isn't much of an actor, but I'll avoid door number 3 and say that Rocky was better. Far better, IMO.

www.grudge-match.com/History/rocky-rambo.shtmlI ALWAYS side with Grudge-Match in this kind of question, even if I didn't vote for the winner. Rambo rocks Rocky. And yes, I know this is film preference not fighting skills. But still....the Grudge has spoken.

I loved Rambo, but Rocky is much more emotionally involving. I love all of the Rockys equally (YES even V.) All the films are like one long movie to me and each are reflective of Sly himself. Each film Rocky is a metaphor for Stallone himself. Consider...
Rocky: Longshot underdog is given a chance to prove himself and captures the hearts of millions.
Rocky 2: After pretty much doing nothing worthwhile for three years, he gets back in the ring for another shot.
Rocky 3: At the height of his popularity, he lets success go to his head before remembering his roots and regaining "The Eye of the Tiger".
Rocky 4: Like Rambo, fighting the good fight and helping glasnost more than Reagan ever did. The most touching and thoughtful movie based on the Cold War EVER.
Rocky 5: Further proof that they will kick you when you are down. While 95% of the moviegoing audience craps on this movie, it proves that his family (and die hard Rocky fans) will be with you no matter what.
Can't wait for Part 6!

Rocky was ultimately the better movie and series (even though V was terrible), so I voted for that. However, I always loved Rambo, in fact that was the Halloween costume I wore in kindergarten.
As for who'd win in a fight, I think I remember that debate from an old episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (sad isn't it) and they brought up what would be the deciding factor in the argument. Are they in the ring or in the jungle?

I don't think that Rambo would allow it to take place in a ring.
I recommend a bustling city at night as a good venue. Plenty of open spaces, plenty of things to hide behind.
