Anybody actually have the nards to see this movie in the theaters? Because I sure don't.
Of course, I'll probably end up renting the DVD, just to see if Uwe Boll can get any worse. Plus, Kristanna Loken...yum. Backed up by Michelle Rodriguez. Given those two facts, this is the most promising Boll film yet...which is saying absolutly nothing. Saw one TV spot and it looks horrible, therefor, I'll see it anyway.

Ditto here. I had to blink several times when I realized what I was watching.
Ben Kingsley, Michael Madsen, and Billy Zane are also in this. Huh. Okay....wait...
And...MEATLOAF?!
I want to recommend a nice padded room and pretty new jacket with buckles to THAT casting director.

Ditto here. I had to blink several times when I realized what I was watching. Heh. I had the same reaction. I thought it was an ad for some TV movie or something and then I thought to myself "Is that Kristanna Loken?" Then I remembered that she was in Boll's new movie, and I knew I was watching something special.

No way I'll ever see it. Why? Because I trust Howard Taylor who wrote the following:
I pretty much agree with 90% of his movie reviews, so I'm not planning on going to view this movie. And to be honest, I wasn't planning on going to see it anyway, it just seemed like a bad idea all around.

Rented this the other night because...well....I'm married with 4 daughters, I'm a glutton for punishment, I can take it....right?
OMG....this movie was SOOOOOO bad..Michael Madsen phoned his part in, WTF was the deal with Billy Zane, he was there then.....poof.......I hate Michelle Rodriguez, something about here annoys the livin poo outta me and WHAT IN THE HELL MICHIGAN WAS THE FRIGGIN POINT BEHIND THE MONTAGE AT THE END?
There were TWO ok things about this movie....Kristanna Loken's love potatoes get some screen time (and somehow out-perform everyone elses acting) and the movie was so over the top gory in spots I thought that was pretty cool......
other than that.....SUCKED

Okay, I saw this movie, and was shocked.
It wasn't bad. It was reminded me of the old Hammer Horror films. With what I know of uwe Boll, that may have been intentional. Of course, despite the talented cast (Save Rodriguez, who should never act) the acting war Horrible. I don't think Uwe Boll does second takes.
The movie provided quality swordfights and characters that, if we ignored the performance, could find a way to care about.
Rayne herself is the video game Action hero who belongs in a series of Adventure films following this one. Of course, with different writers and different directors.
I like how people exaggerate how bad Uwe Boll is. This movie was one of the worst movies ever made on IMDB Before it was released anywhere. Alone in the Dark was pathetic, painfully, and, dare I say it, worse then Manos? House of the Dead was bad, but in the cheesey way I like.
Bloodrayne was a decent adventure story that could have been better. While I admit it's flawed as hell, I have to admit I enjoyed it.
But I'm upset... i wanted to see a BAD movie.
Well, I do have Catwoman.

I haven't been here in weeks, mostly because YTMND has been eating up my free time. Oh, and the MST3K BloodRayne site was one of my many sites devoted to making fun of one of the most terrible films in recent memory. BloodRayne makes Manos: Hands of Fate seem like an Oscar contender. If you don't believe me, rent BloodRayne and prepare to see what horrible film making means for the 21st century.
