I got this movie for my birthday. The special features are really funny, and fairly interesting. A great foriegn film (if you're from the States, or any country that's not Britain).

My favorite part was when they were picking the records to throw. Great dialogue.
I thought the filmakers were from New Zealand and not Britain?

I liked the movie. I did have some trouble with the British accent. I felt like I was only getting a fraction of the jokes because I was spending so much bloody time trying to figure out what the heck they were saying. Bloody darbies

If you enjoyed "Shaun" I highly encourage you to check out a short-lived British series called "Spaced." It has much of "Shaun's" cast and is absolutely hillarious.

Hi. Another damn newbie here (from the UK).
And having just read the Hitchcock thread, its 'Kaplan' as in 'Kaplan? I'm not Kaplan, I'm Roger Thornhill'.
Anyway, staying on topic - Spaced is a truly great British comedy series, written by and starring Simon Pegg (among others) who were also involved in Shaun of the Dead. Very much the same style of deadpan humour, and very very funny.
You can get both series in a boxed set with loads of extras, but I'm assuming you'll need a multi-region dvd player.
Be seeing you.
