Sophie's Choice and the beginning of White Fang where the little guy sleeps on his killed mom...*sniff*...I'd rather not talk about it...

I try my best to not cry during movies. I really REALLY hate crying. But sometimes I just have to.
I used to break down every time I saw someone shoot themselves in the head, so I cried during Snake Eyes, Boogie Nights and Texas Chainsaw Massecre.
Other than that I was horribly generic and bawled when I saw the old people olding each other in Titanic.
I managed to not cry during The Notebook, but it was hard. Alzeimer's is just heartbreaking. Probably why I cried during Hope Floats when she dances with her dad.
I can't think of any more off the top of my head, which makes me happy.

These are great. Keep Going.
One more for me. Everytime I see the end of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, when they let Kenny into Heaven, I sorta choke up.
Yes, I have seen a therapist, but this didn't come up.

I cry like a baby all the time. The last time was for a TV show. CSI made me cry when Brass went to the funeral of the cop he accidentally killed.
But man I gotta think about this for movies. Spock dying made me cry. I think I cried during Million Dollar Baby. Roman Holiday choked me up... hell I could go on for days. I never hold back my tears. God gave me tearducts and I'll be damned if I'm gonna do that 'too macho to bawl' garbage.
Jesus of Nazareth made me cry - Passion DID NOT. Why? Nazareth told the story of the man, fully realised and it made me feel the impact of the sacrifice. Passion was just a guy getting whaled on. It made me sick not sad.

I cry during The Legends of the Fall. Anthony Hopkin's character comes limping out and sees his prodigal son has returned. He then scrawls "I'm happy" on the blackboard, and I cry into my popcorn.

I think Iron Giant got a tear out of me. When he flies to save the day and says... "Superman".
Sacrifice makes me cry.

The Final Sacrifice? I'm sorry, yeah, that is a sad part of the movie. I think it's the way that the Giant says "Superman" as he's hurtling into space...but hey, at least there is hope for the future when his parts start to come together again. Old Yeller made me cry when I was little. I have a thing about pets being killed

I admit it. I'm a total sissy.
From the ones mentioned:
I cry at "Big Fish" every time. I think this one's more meaningful if you have a son or if you've lost your father.
I cried at "The Passion...", but not when I thought I would. The moment that got me was when Jesus was carrying his cross, and he turned to Mary and said, "Behold, I make all things new." I sobbed like a little girl.
I cry at "Royal Tenenbaums" when Ben Stiller turns to Gene Hackman and says, "It's been a rough year, dad."
I cry at the swingset scene in "Ikiru".
I cried multiple times when I saw "Return of the King" for the first time.
I'm sure there are more, those are off the top of my head.

Iron Giant. "Superman" makes me sob every time. I watched it with a bunch of freinds once and was afraid they'd tease me, but they all cried too.
"Lilo and Stitch", when Stitch is lost in the woods. I can't bear his loneliness and confusion.
I cried at the end of King Kong. C'mon, he dies!
"Truly, Madly, Deeply" had me sobbing from beginning to end. It's really the only film I can think of that's actually about grief, the whole process of grieving, of sobbing and wailing at the therapist, than calmly going to work, flashes of rage so intense you scare yourself, waiting around to move on and realizing you might never do it, the idealized relationship vs. the real person, and on and on. The fact that the ending leaves you happy and not suicidal shows the superiority of the movie.
For TV, I cried when Data's daughter Lal died. And if you didn't, you're dead inside.

Edward Scissorhands has come closest, although Spock's funeral is pretty emotional as well.
*I'm still manly though

I cry at "Royal Tenenbaums" when Ben Stiller turns to Gene Hackman and says, "It's been a rough year, dad." That one gets me, too. Also: "Magnolia" "It's A Wonderful Life" "Old Yeller" "Rocky" "The Bridges of Madison County"

I think TV is a lot better at making you cry just because of the time spent with the shows. I keep thinking that if I had been following MST3K from the start and had seen the last episode, I would have cried at the end. But the show had been over and Diabolik was one of the early shows I watched. TV probably is better at that. Still I only got choked up and didn't cry in that episode of Dead Like Me when the grim reaper father comes to take his daughter away and sings her a a lullaby. That one was sad.
Still I'm not a crier. And I don't get girls who love to cry. I remember in school when they showed First Knight and all the girls wanted to cry at the movies. The hot girl even got mad at me because she couldn't cry because I kept making fun of the movie. I also remember in Titanic, when the guy was dead or drowning and the theater was silent and I could hear people crying all over me. I thought that was hilarious. I think that kind of weird to want to cry. I'll cry when Mexico wins the World Cup or Pumas wins the llibertadores or world club championship, thanks you very much.
Still I like when people cry in real life over meaningful stuff because it kind of shows you care. People that cry over anything seem weird. I think that if there is reincarnation those people will come back as Care Bears stuffed bears.

LOL Hell, I was laughing! What a stupid film!
