I cried.....that I spent ten dollars to see Fellowship of the Ring. What a horror to sit through. But anyway, the film that gets me more than any other (all I have to do is hear the music and it's automatic tears) is Robert Bresson's Au Hazard Balthazar, but I'm guessing no one else has seen this. The main character is a donkey. Oh yes. When the swarm of sheep surround him and he gently lays down and dies....instant spickets Wow, someone else has seen it?

A little known gem of a film with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Anyways at the conclusion when he finally reads his wife's suicide letter. Bawling like a baby, haha. Oh yeah, I thought Love Liza was great, and yep, I cried at that too. Phillip Seymour Hoffman rules -- he was terrific in Capote. As for Au Hazard Balthazar, I haven't seen it but I think I'll go add it to my Netflix queue right this very moment...

Just saw Tristan & Isolde twice this weekend. Cried both times. Pre-Romeo and Juiet with whole countries at stake. Beautiful scenery, good acting, great leads and a story that got better and better with intrigue and double crosses. Oh, and lots of sword fights for you guys out there.

i stand ready to accept scorn and humiliation.

Bela Lugosi's funeral in ED WOOD got me crying. What started it was the expression on Ed's face when he learns that Bela has died, and then the cut to the funeral with the music brought on the bawling.
THE IRON GIANT did it to me too. "Superman..."
[HERE THERE BE SPOILERS]
I'll admit to crying during ELECTRIC DREAMS, when Edgar is about to short-circuit himself. Despite the fact he was battling with Miles for the hand of Madeline, the computer's realization of why he can't be with her and his words with Miles before he kills himself are incredibly heartbreaking.

The ending of The Return Of The King choked me up some, and Grizzly Man.

Schindler's List, at the end where Liam Neelson is getting all choked up about how a pen could have been another human life...gets me all misty eyed.

I was pissed that his girlfreind got eaten too! Yes, she was out there of her own free will, and I guess what pisses me off most is that THIS was her boyfreind? THIS acid fried nitwit got a girlfreind? If she had been the "bear lady" she NEVER would have had an attractive, charming partner, much less one that WALKS UP TO BEARS and finally GETS EATEN because of his relationship with her! And the final ironic touch, they had to shoot both the bears to get them away from the bodies! Good going, Tim and Moron Girlfreind! Awwww, ya know?

Spock's death? You guys are lame.
My dear old dad, who's going through his "changes", said that he cried at Corpse Bride.
Now, as for me. Somebody mentioned the Royal Tennenbaums, and I have another scene for that one. You see (this explains both this movie and the one to follow), I am bipolar, and some things just touch nerves. In RT, when Luke Wilson looks in the mirror and says, "Tomorrow I'm going to kill myself" but then cuts himself right then, that made me misty.
But the big one is Girl, Interrupted. I don't think I cried in the movie. But on the drive home I bawled like a baby. I practically had to be held down. This was before I was properly diagnosed and medicated.

I caught "Powder" on Showtime last week. The scene where he is telling the sheriff what his coma-bound wife was going through... It looked like I was chopping onions.

A few years back I seen a movie called In Dreams. The movie was suppose to be a thriller. But at the end when Annette Benning is reunited with her daughter in death I cried my eyes out. I think I related to the mother daughter thing because my daughter was about the same age as Annettes in the movie.

I just read where someone posted Sophies Choice. That was one the all time saddest movies I have ever seen. The part where she had to give up her daughter to the gas chamber to save her son was heartbreaking. That was a movie that really touched me deep down. Not many do that
