We finally caught up with dvds we got for Christmas, and watched Hayao Miyazaki's How's Moving Castle.
I strongly recommend it! Wonderful film.

Did you see the movies Cartoon Network aired this past month? Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind? Those are great too. Haven't yet seen Howls' though.

I love his movies, I remember catching Totoro and being completely enchated by it. Howls is another great success. He's one of a handful of modern film makers who I'll watch without knowing a thing about the movie before hand. He's money in the bank, guaranteed enjoyment.

I'm a big fan of Myazaki's work too. I've seen some of the more obscure ones like "The Cat Returns" and "Only Yesterday." All great stuff. I missed my chance to get "Racoon Wars" when it was shown on TCM in January. I've been a fan since "The Castle of Cagliostro."
