Oh yeah. Vote.
Halloween - The one that started it all. Mr. Myers begins his endless killing spree by breaking out of a mental institution and returning to Haddonfield, the typical small town. After nearly thirty years of imitators and similar movies, this one looks ridiculous only because it originated all the cliches we see so often. Featuring a low body count and many shots of our heroine being oblivious to the fact that there's a killer outside, this is still a classic.
Halloween II - A continuation of the original that tells us that Michael is actually Laurie Stode's brother. A solid movie, although you might be wondering why Haddonfield has the most understaffed hospital in the world.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch - And this has what to do with the others? Features a near incomprehensible plot revolving around robots with yellow blood, masks that turn your face into crickets, and sneaking a large hunk of Stonehenge through customs.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers - A rather good sequel that has Michael returning home to stalk his niece.
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers - This film has Myers killing the kindly old hermit that kept him alive for a year. His niece has lost the ability to speak after the events of the fourth and developed a telepathic link with Michael. Dr. Loomis, always an awesome character, tries to exploit this link to kill Michael, but is again dismissed as a psychotic old man.
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers - After the events of the fifth one, Michael and niece are presumed dead. In reality, Jamie has been kidnapped and impregnated by evil druids (huh?) who protect Myers. Jamie escapes, but not before giving birth. This movie wraps up the Curse of Thorn story.
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later - Laurie Strode, of the first two, is alive and well. She's the headmaster of a private school in northern california, complete with boyfriend. Then, of course, Mr. Myers has to ruin things.
Halloween: Resurrection - A group of idiot teens volunteer to stay the night in the old Myers' place for an MTV type reality show. Then Michael Myers shows up, and the damn show is canceled.
