When I saw the thread title, I immediately thought, "Sigourney Weaver in the Aliens movies!" Shows you the era I grew up in. (I must also admit I haven't seen half the movies listed in the poll. Nor am I all that sure who half the girls women are, either.) And what about Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor in the second Terminator movie? Wowsers. You could believe that she could take out the scuzzy attendant with one blow, and break herself out of the prison/asylum.

I'm with donna. Signourney was the first one that popped into my mind.

Oh yeah, Linda Hamilton - can't believe I left her off. Good one Donna And I gotta give a few props to Angelina - no votes yet, but I thought she was a cool Laura Croft (I liked the second movie, and both have Chris Barrie -Rimmer- in 'em too!) Glad to see where having fun with this thread (The spirit in which it was intended) - I wonder if we'll soon see a "Boys Who Kick Ass" thread anytime soon?

I forget to mention that in my last post. She rocks in the Alien films.

MJ must've edited it because I see Sigourney in the poll now. Either that or I was blind when I looked at this yesterday. You decide.

It suddenly occurred to me that I should be offended that the thread is called "GIRLS who kick ass" and not "WOMEN who kick ass." But then I told myself that it's just a thread, I should really just relax.

I'm going to have to say Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor from T2; nothing says "kick ass" like a woman who'll kill a man using a syringe filled with Drain-O...

Hell you can call me old man, dude, guy, dickweed or asshat and I still wouldn't be offended. ;D And no, to answer an earlier question - I can't edit the poll (Or I'd have added a few of these suggestions and fixed a mis-spelling)

I enjoyed most of these females in most of these films, but by far and away I was most impressed by Uma Thurman. I was never a fan of hers but I honestly thought after Kill Bill she was one of the greatest American action stars, male or female, ever.
