OMG.
This may not be the best film Asdam Sandler's made (I credit Happy Gilmore), this POSSIBLY the most grounded work he's done.
I'm not gonna give away too many details, but this movie isn't the complete roaring comedy it makes you think it could be. This film literally makes you leave the theater reavaluating your whole life, and makes you re-think things over. Wow.
Um... oh yeah.... and in the movie, Sean Astin fans have the pleasure of seeing Sean Astin in a speedo. Enjoy!

It has a "Rotten" 29% rating at Rotten TomatoesAnd the trailers for it have looked awful. Looks like an interesting idea ruined by putting Adam Sandler in it. (BTW, doesn't the whole movie sound like a plot thought up by South Park's AWESOM-O 4000?)

I've voiced my opinion on Sandler here many times, but I don't see how ANYONE could've made this film work. Looks like a one joke premise that would be painful to sit through for 90 minutes. Maybe that's just me though. Sandler's films almost always kill at the box office, so I'm sure the sheep will flock to this one like they have for all of the other crap he's released.

I dunno, I thought the previews looked great. It made me wanna see it and the only Sandler film I've liked was The Wedding Singer.

I think there might've also been a Simpson's Halloween episode along similar lines, and a Twilight Zone too. Oh, and one of the bad ideas they had for that Teen Titans cartoon was to have a villain based on this premise (I think his name might've been Control Freak. Not even the Titans thought it was a good idea when they fought him in the episode.) It's the type of idea that pops up about once every five years.

Yeah it's an old idea. I think I just like the fact that I could stop time and punch my boss whenever he acts like a dickweed. Mass apeal there. lol
I think it'll be a renter though, I wanna see Supes on the IMAX and then there's Pirates... so many movies, so little dollars.

I liked it, Xerxes. I don't think the previews do it justice. A little too much dog humor (all that humping)!
