Deep Discount DVDIf you want to explore films beginnings, Kino delivers. Thy have a great selection of the early german masters, Fritz Lang, F W Murnau as well as a neat set of the early German horror films. I also saw DW Griffiths "Broken Blossoms" - and they have that huge Buster Keaton collection for only $100.00. DAMN, if I only had the cash I'd buy that in a heartbeat. They also have some later releases. I'd like to get Scarlett Street and The Cabnet of Dr. Caligary (only $10) - maybe I'll sell some blood, lol.

I saw that...unfortunately. Unless I get working again soon I'm going to have to keep it to just the one disc.... I think I'm finally going to splurge and get The Gaucho for no other reason than it has the short "The Mystery of the Leaping Fish" on it. That's more than worth $15 to me.

Scarlet Street is very good. I originally saw it ages ago and have it on VHS.
They have the American Film Theatre Series - which includes Albee's A Delicate Balance (incredible film of the play) and Harold Pinter's The Homecoming. Saw these both big screen. If you EVER get a chance to see The Homecoming, DO!!! The film is chilling.

I hope The Man Who Laughs is on sale. Yes, it is....In fact, I think all Kino is on sale even if it's not on that list (like my choice The Gaucho)
