Oh, sorry. I should've clarified, I was asking about the best way to do it with someone else who ISN'T in the room recording it with you. The person who wants to do it with me would be doing it over the internet only. Skype. This seems to be the method podcasters use. Results are kind of mixed, IMHO, but I know of nothing better. For those of you asking how could I do things, etc., here's a whole page of links of folks doing their own commentaries (and you thought RiffTrax was original! ) www.sharecrow.com/?p=Crows Most of those lead to web sites with many more of these things you can download. Some are funny, some aren't, some are good, some bad. In my expirence, RiffTrax is the only thing that has something to check your sync. All the others I've tred you just gave to guess. Anyway, those should give some people ideas.

that's awesome! do we need our own domain to put this up?
edit: we WILL make sure on sync. do they keep sync during the movie for rifftrax?

Here's exactly what we did for Crow. We put the mac playing the movie next to the pc (I don't care how you do it this is what we did with our resources) I used Creative Media to record an mp3 and hit the "record" button around the time I wanted to. I used a "stand up" mic. How you put it online is your buisiness.
