The RiffTrax website has been updated. Reefer Madness is now available in the Catalog section, under 'RiffTrax Classics'.

Looks like Rifftrax pulled this one off their webpage and its not available right now. As I already mentioned in the RiffTrax Forum... The rifftrax team were having alot of problems getting it to sync with any other copy of Reefer, other then their own colorized version. I have a feeling they pulled it as it's probably going to take alot more work then first anticipated to get it to sync with the movie. There was a brief moment a couple weeks back where they accidently had it for sale. I know that I purchased it along with one other person in Germany, before they realized what was going on and pulled the plug. I tried to sync it up to my copy of Reefer but it drifts out quite a bit by the second Disembaudio line. I've been thinking I would manualy go through bit by bit and sync each riff up to where it should go (as I reauthor my dvd's to include the rifftrax), but this will take a long time and I don't have that kind of time on my hands right now...maybe later.

I was wondering how they were going to manage this, seeing as how pretty much every version of Reefer Madness other than theirs is a jumpy splice fest. I've been trying to line up subtitles on a version of Rashomon I bought before I realized it didn't have English subs and that has been a major exercise in futility. I can't imagine this would be any easier.
Personally, I'd say just buy the Legend disc. It isn't that expensive and the colorization is pretty funny on it's own.

I was going to use the Legend B&W version with the Rifftrax but I guess now I will try to rip the whole audio and try to sync it up with the B&W version. I just hate colorization even for a flick like Reefer Madness.

The Legend version comes with both B/W and Color version, and Mike's commentary comes with both versions.

The Legend version comes with both B/W and Color version, and Mike's commentary comes with both versions. Actually, the commentary only runs with the colorized version of the film on that disc. That was the first disc out of the gate and Legend caught a little heat for that decision. I think all the discs since have the Nelson commentary as an option on the B&W and colorized versions but Reefer Madness doesn't. IIRC, and it's been a while since I've watched that one, there are a few riffs about the colorization that wouldn't make any sence on a B&W print.

The NOTLD DVD only has the Mike track on the colorized version as well. I only remember a very small amount of riffs pertaining to the color and it is not enough for me to worry about.
