I cleared all the internet files, history, and cookies. I checked again and it's still not there. Maybe the internet provider here has cached the site or something? I'll try tomorrow when I visit my family.

I don't see this mentioned anywhere, so I just thought I'd mention that Rifftrax is actually giving away the Nestor commentary for free, through Quick Stop Entertainment (whatever that is). Head here for instructions: www.quickstopentertainment.com/?p=2921

They probably got thrown off by the fact that it's not the "headliner" on that DVD.

Oh yeah ...I remember watching the Star Wars Christmas Special as a kid on tv. I had at the time ...dare I say it ...a crush on Han Solo. (Hey it was 1978, I was an 8 year old kid at the time and Harrison Ford was in his twenties at that time.) Anyway I remember trying to convince my father that C3PO was real because he was listed in the tv guide credits "as himself". What a knucle-nob, I was. I would love to watch that special again. Is there any way to get a copy of it?

I also had a major crush on Hans Solo. Hey, it could have been worse; at least it wasn't the wookie! Anyways, I've emailed this to Jackie, but if anyone else is interested, the entire Star Wars Holiday Special can be seen at YouTube at www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=AE02FF135472DC3B . If you don't mind watching it in ten minutes chunks, that is. Too bad this thing isn't available on DVD. Nor will it ever, from what I've heard of what Lucas has had to say on the matter. But man, would it ever make for a good rifftrax!

Oh Tealeaf I should have told you. I just checked Youtube and the Lucas Corporation made them get rid of it. (Apparently Gerorge is very embarassed about this production) But for those of you who are interested in procurring a copy click your heels together three times and post "I want the Star Wars Christmas Special." A kind Mistie will be there to help. Seriously...

D'oh! I knew the special was on YouTube because it was linked on Fark not too long ago. I guess all the visitors from there drew too much attention and got the plug pulled. I did the search on YouTube to find it, but it didn't occur to me to click on the vids to see if they were still active.
Well, darn, so much for being helpful.

Check Google Video for the Star Wars special. I watched it on there not too long ago.
