Shout Factory's front page ( www.shoutfactory.com/) has a Top 5 DVDs List--it currently reads: I'm not sure how they compile that list, but if it's sales ranking, then it can only mean good things for the chances of more Film Crew DVDs.

Good info. Selling better than McHale's Navy: Season One! Looks like there is a future for The Crew after all.

Wow. America's Funniest Home Videos didn't make the top 5. Shocking.
Of coarse if Shout Factory actually released the episodes CHRONOLOGICALLY...
It's all too bad Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats season 1 DVD didn't sale well. It discouraged Shout! from releasing season 2. Those bastards...

I originally posted this 3 1/2 weeks ago, and here's the current list:
WWW has moved ahead of HAD, and Johny Carson has overcome McHale, but still, top 3: ALL Film Crew.

How is Wongo even on there? It doesn't come out until the 11th.

I never even knew SF existed before I heard of these FC discs. Same here. I wish we knew for certain if the Film Crew is planning/working on any '08 releases. Weren't these first four filmed a few years ago? I really hope they'll be able to find some 70s, 80s or 90s films to riff...but I get the impression that the public domain is dominated by 50s-60s films. And I think it would be awesome if they could get more former Brains to work on future releases. Maybe we could finally have Mike & Joel riffing together.

Yes they were and supposedly held up due to being to close to MST3K and were to be released by Rhino I believe. When they first came out there was a post on the RiffTrax board by a MOD who told us that Mike said these have been in the can for 3 or 4 years and that would be all that we would see. A few hours later that post disappeared and there was a posting from "Bob Honcho" that said if they did well there would be more. He hasn't posted anything since May which was months before the first release. No news since and no new information. The older the film the better chance of public domain. I seriously doubt anything from the 80s or 90s would ever fall into the public domain. But hey at least we have RiffTrax for those flicks.

The Film Crew: Wild Women of Wongo ranks number #291 in DVD sales on Amazon right now. I hope that is evidence of the huge market for these releases.

It took forever for my local stores to get them (still waiting for Hollywood after Dark to arrive), but I now have Killers From Space (watched that earlier today) and Wild Women of Wongo. I hope at least another four movies are set to be made fun of for 2008.

I hope at least another four movies are set to be made fun of for 2008. Remember these were made years before Rifftrax started!
