If you could choose what the Christmas RiffTrax would be, what would you choose?
Personally, I'd pick the Jim Carey version of How the Grinch Stole Xmas
You?

Tough call. Gremlins could be good. Not a Christmas move per se, but there's a lot of Christmas in there.
I like the movie, personally, but I think there's a ton there to mine for laughs.

This is tough. Most Christmas films are comedies, and comedies don't riff easy. Even bad ones. I think it was Kevin who said even if you riff a painful joke, the joke still hurts.
I suppose Die Hard or Die Hard 2 would be fun ones. Maybe a Tim Burton movie, since they're usually set during winter (Batman Returns is begging for it).

Agreed, Batman Returns would be great. I rather dislike it, but it's still definitely a watchable movie.

The saying usually goes "you just might get it!", but who knows if that applies in this circumstance?

I'd also cast my vote for the recent "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". It's a BAD Christmas movie, plain and simple.

I would almost certainly count on this. Mike seems to be getting around to Riffing every movie he speared in his book "Movie Megacheese."
Forgot to suggest a special...I'd love to see them take on the 1930's MGM version of A Christmas Carol. It was the version I grew up with since our local CBS affiliate evidently owned a copy and showed it every Christmas eve for 136 years!
It is a very "manic" version of the famous Christmas tale. Everybody smiles too much and jarringly laughs insanely at nothing at all at the drop of a hat. All the kids act if they have eaten a pound of white sugar chased by a full liter of Jolt Cola. If it hadn't been filmed in the 1930's I'd swear most of the adults in the production were high on crack!
