I'm just a little pissed at myself for knowing what that was. I feel your pain!

At first I thought the song being referred to was BTK's "Peppyrock", which uses that "whooo-hooo!" sample from some classic rock song I can't remember. The Sesame Street video that always used to play on Much Music was funny in a stoner sort of way. Now it's a car commercial friendly tune and nauseates me.

Gwen Stefani hasn't done anything good since she was in No Doubt.

Gwen Stefani hasn't done anything good since she was in No Doubt. And some would even dispute that.

Gwen Stefani hasn't done anything good since she was in No Doubt. I disagree with this statement. Her first solo album is a pop masterpiece. I never bothered with the second album, because the singles never grabbed me in any good way. I think she has a good grasp of hooks and composing catchy music, but I'm beginning to fear more and more that she's a one-trick-pony. The first album alone runs out of steam, by the end. I hate ska, so I was never a huge No Doubt fan. I liked their Rock Steady album, though.

I think she's a very good singer though. I wish I could sing like her.
I wish I could sing well in general. Like I can carry a tune and not be awful, but there's much to be desired.

Isn't that an oxymoron?

BD2H, soooo good to see you!
This thread came along at the perfect time! In college, I heard an adorable novelty song on the radio called "If I Was A Moose And You Were A Cow", about how the two people in the song would have to sneak bovine kisses under the stars because of her disapproving father. I thought it was the cutest song ever, but have never heard it again since. Anyone know who wrote it or where it can be found?

Working at a pharmacy with a radio station playing "light rock hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and now" replace pharmacy with liquor store and I feel your pain. I never want to hear an Elton John song ever again.
