Have a musical instrument you'd like to show off? Well, what are you waiting for, dumb ass? Here's my awesome telecaster. And my equally awesome mini-stack. Well, what are you waiting for, dumb ass?

et voila! The fretless 5-string bass was a custom job. I don't have any good pics of the full drum kit, but this features my 1958 snare drum pretty nicely: Not pictured: the sweet Fender Deville 2x12 twin tube amp with the built-in tremolo.

My axe is stupid and ugly. I had an awful pick that made black marks all over my pickguard. Plus, I don't think I have any pictures of it on this new computer anyhow. So I'll just show you my dream guitar.... Jags are the love of my life. I'd also like Mosrite, but I think those would be harder to come by.

Jags are the love of my life.. Just curious Krista, what is it about Jaguar that you like so much? Is it the sound, the feel, the way they look? If it's the look I think that's a completely legitimate reason to like a guitar. I don't think I've ever played a Jag but I do love Fender.

Well they do indeed look cool, but being a surf buff, I think aside from having a ton of reverb, they would play a big part in getting the authentic surf sound. So with that said, I really like Jazzmasters and Mosrites too, but I've always had this facination for the Jaguar. And even though other guitars come with tremolo bars, the fact that it's on a Jaguar makes it that much cooler!
Even in bands that didn't play surf music, I love the sound of a surf guitar. A good example is East Bay Ray of the Dead Kennedys, especially in songs such as "A Growing Boy needs His Lunch." I looooooove that the guitar in that song, which is mirrored in a ton of their other songs as well.
It was just one of those things I fell in love with the first time I saw one.

I don't have my camera right now but this is what I have: Black with a very nice chrome plate and highlights. It's perfect for my needs without going into the price range of a Fender.

40th Anniversary Fender American Strat... 1954 reissue... That's a beauty. Thank you! It's my first and only guitar. I've been very tempted to sell it to pay for a couple semesters of college but I keep holding onto it. I also have a bass and some pieces of a drum set but it's not worth bragging about.

As you can see, I've gone bottom-of-the-line all the way. My first guitar: Epiphone PR-150. My second and third stringed instruments: Epiphone Junior Model, Squier Bronco bass. Next step: learn to play more than a couple of chords.

I was going to find a pic of the thing I saw at a video game seller. The piece of plastic used for "Guitar Hero". Will playing GH help me to play like Gene Simmons?

You know, astonishing as it may be, playing Guitar Hero is not actually playing the guitar. Shocking, I know. It is a fun game, though.

I know. Five buttons on the neck and one for your "pick". What could Hendrix have pulled off with that kind of control? And I meant Jean Simmons, the actress.
