An online friend of mine introduced me to Jens Lekman earlier tonight, and...I...think I'm in love. His music isn't for everyone. But if you haven't heard of him (and you're not opposed to quirky Indie Pop), I'd highly recommend the following (won't you?): "A Postcard to Nina" "Kanske Är Jag Kär I Dig" "Friday Night at the Drive-In Bingo" "I'm Leaving You Because I Don't Love You" "Another Sweet Summer's Night on Hammer Hill" ETA: "A Sweet Summer's Night on Hammer Hill" "If I Could Cry (It Would Feel Like This)" "When I Said I Wanted to Be Your Dog" "Past, Present and Future"

The latest album was incredibly good! One of my favourites of last year.

oh, jens lekman is lovely. my favorite song of his (so far) is "pocketful of money" though. that beat happening sample in it... so great!
i was introduced to him by a friend, who played "black cab" for me while we were driving to a gig. i've become pretty lazy about listening to new music lately, but that made me sit up and take notice!
