So can I be the first to ask Mary Jo's and Frank's all-time favorite questions?
How do you find these movies? Who picks them?
And so forth.

Well, if what RAD said is true, then Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny is not the movie. There is no blue station wagon in it.

The Rambler shot is in color, but it kinda looks like a "day-for-night" shot. Like in Attack of the Eye Creatures.

Then CT would be right out the gate with some massive Deep Hurting.
Any guesses on what the genre might be for the premier? I've been perusing IMDb, and have come across a sci-fi flick that seems to fit Joel's description. And it might have a lot of driving scenes...

Here's a shot in the dark, not for this release, but a future one.
In The Sinister Urge, we saw posters of Ed Woods other efforts on the office wall. BTW, very subtle, Ed...
One was The Violent Years (did that), the other was Jail Bait. Was that one any good/bad?

Speculate, don't hint. Also, they must do Night of the Lepus at some point. Though rights could be tricky.

OK... I'm gonna weigh in with my guess. It's a movie from 1974 starring William Shatner that was shot in my home town. My older brother (13 at the time) was actually cast as an extra in it, and had a crush on the lead child actress, Kim Nicholas. It's called "Impulse"... although the original title was "Want A Ride Little Girl?" The movie was an extremely low budget, rotting hunk of tripe, and it was to William Shatner, what The Norseman was to Lee Majors. When I mentioned earlier that there was something familiar about that shot with the car, this is the movie I was thinking of. Sure I'm probably wrong, but it's my official guess. More info on the movie can be found HEREOn an unrelated note... my brother cried for days after the production crew left town, as the love of his life slipped through his fingers. Another unrelated note... The Norseman was also shot near my home.

Plus, it's in color, got driving scenes, and is sci-fi (prime MST fodder). www.imdb.com/chart/bottom?tt0060666Click on any of the genre's and it lists the top and bottom for each.

Another unrelated note... The Norseman was also shot near my home. These have all been shot near Palouse. And there aren't many. www.imdb.com/title/tt0190255/The Basket, 1999 Two orphaned German children are relocated to a rural farm community during WWI. While they fight the stigma of being "the enemy", the new school teacher brings in the game of Basketball in hopes of winning the local championship. This has some nostaliga for me, because the gymnasium scenes were shot at the grange in Garfield, 9 miles away. That building has since been torn down and replaced with a nursing home. www.imdb.com/title/tt0338133/Dandelion, 2004 "Isolated 16 year old Mason lives in a world where families exist in fragmented silence and love seems to have gone missing. Then Mason meets Danny, a sensitive and troubled girl, and their tender bond is soon tested after a fatal accident and a series of complications takes Mason away for something he didn't do. Upon his return, the two find what they're looking for - but with tragic consequences." This was shot in Moscow, 16 miles away, and is a good, but very depressing movie. www.imdb.com/title/tt0105629/Toys, 1992 "When a military general inherits a toy making company and begins making war toys, his employees band together to stop him before he ruins the name of Zevo Toys forever." Yes, it's a bit corny, but I've always had a soft spot for this one. And all the scenic shots were filmed near Rosalia, up near the Whitman/Spokane county boarder. And there are movies filmed in the area that I've always enjoyed, like Benny & Joon, Detour, Smoke Signals, and Breakheart Pass.
