Kind of curious to know how they write these movies. For example, Joel mailed out to everyone the next project a couple weeks ago. Do they: 1. Riff the movie by themselves and come up with and outline script. 2. Read their riffs to each other over a series of teleconferences. 3. Someone puts together the final script and they all fly into LA for a couple days of shooting? That's my impression of how it works. As for the next title... Rad isn't talking.

From the lastest CT email issue from J Elvis:
Did you know?
All proceeds from your purchase of a “Cinematic Titanic: The Oozing Skull” dvd go directly towards the production of our next dvd. The writing has already commenced.
Good news but I guess this is going to be another "We're not going to tell you what it is until it's already done" movie.

I saw Dracula vs. Frankenstein again recently, and if Sherman has the rights to it still, I have no idea why they'd choose Oozing Skull over it. Even for riffing, there is only a couple of spots where Dracula or J. Caroll Naish (playing a psuedo Dr. Frankenstein) have long monolouges. If he did retain the rights, that's my guess for what's next.

^I’m keeping my fingers crossed that’s what it is. If so it will be epic. Epic I tell’s ya. Its one of the best bad movies of all time and one of my personal favorites.

Good news but I guess this is going to be another "We're not going to tell you what it is until it's already done" movie. Good. I don't think they should have to tell us what's coming up, at least not until it's finished. Doesn't really make a difference to me either way, so long as it's good.

I don't mind not knowing the name either, but I would really like to know a target release date.

Rad isn't talking. a bit belated, but i asked Mary Jo about the writing process in the rifftrax chat q&a, and this was her reply: ‹Lawgiver› For CT, we each wrote independently - ARGHHHH! BRAIN OF BLOOD KILLED ME!! ‹Lawgiver› And then when we came together to tape it we reviewed it together working out the kinks so... there's a bit of an answer for you guys!

It is one of my favorite BAD movies. Speaking of BAD movies............... "ZOLTAN: Hound of Dracula" for the next CT anyone?

I don't mind not knowing the name either, but I would really like to know a target release date. That, I can most definitely agree with. That's one thing I like about Rifftrax, the more-or-less steady release schedule.
