Thanks, I knew my paraphrase would botch it up.

How 'bot this. First person to get it and post here, posts an "I got it" thread.... And then we'll all post a reply saying, "me too!" But some people will post a reply saying, "I haven't got mine yet!" even though the thread title is clearly stated as "I got it" not "I haven't got it!" We could have had an "I haven't got it" thread for years now. Anyway, there you go. .. . ... . I haven't gotten mine yet, btw. I think it's more apt to say that it will be that first person who will race over to their computer and still have the composure to write, "I GOT IT!"

Good point, I know that I personally will be so excited I'll just bounce around in my chair and mutter incoherantly. If my shaky hands actually hit any keys, it'll look more like a chimp got a hold of the computer than anything legable. Of course I'll forget to post it and just close the window as I race to the DVD player, where Dad (the closest MSTie) must join me in watching.

Any ideas on how the disc'll be shipped? They won't just ship a disc in a paper sleeve in flimsy cardboard, will they? My mail lady is a brute -- it'd never make it.
Can you imagine the disappointment of opening the mail to find a damaged disc?

Can you imagine the disappointment of opening the mail to find a damaged disc? I have to say they will probably ship the disc in a paper sleeve in flimsy cardboard. I'm sorry. Whatever it is, hopefully, it will remain intact!

Probably not even cardboard, but one of those bubble-wrap lined manilla shipping envelopes.

Probably not even cardboard, but one of those bubble-wrap lined manilla shipping envelopes. That might actually be better. Bubble-wrap is more submissive than cardboard is, so my mail lady is less likely to feel threatened by it. Here's hoping....

Netflix DVDs survive with only being in a PAPER sleeve and envelope, so dont worry. All will be good.

Netflix DVDs survive with only being in a PAPER sleeve and envelope, so dont worry. All will be good. Though Netflix DVDs are factory "pressed", rather than "burned", right? So they have a little more polycarb base protection from scuffs and scratches and such than the media that I suspect this company uses. Still, as long as they're in some sort of envelope inside the mailer, all will indeed be good... ;D

the email i got said it would ship tomorrow. and theyd email shorlty before it ships.. gah come on email. Yeah , and it also said "On or before the 9th" just to leave open another tease. Better not give way to another delay ! I know there's board-members who think we're all being hysterical here, but the very idea of CT still wants to become real . . . . couple that with the many delays and it's a big ol' case of "I can almost taste it !! / what's it taste like !?"
