There, there, honey. Do you need a lie-down? I'll read you a bedtime story, then get the chloroform and put you in a medically induced coma until the new release date.
Then, god willing, someone will do the same for me.

I suspect after missing the first date, they don't want to state another date they can't meet again.

I suspect after missing the first date, they don't want to state another date they can't meet again. True. But I know how everybody's feeling. Still, my disappointment is settling in, (ooo, is that bad? ) and I'm getting used to the delay. I just hope it doesn't go as long as some have agonized.

I want my Cinematic Titanic! Related note: I told a friend who has been a big fan of MST (and especially the Joel years) about it today, and she was really excited and hadn't heard about it before.

I just checked the CT website, and had the biggest feeling of disappointment come over me. Then I came here and found this thread. Interesting that we're all thinking along the same lines.
Come on fellas! You can't keep us in suspense like this. It's just mean at this point. Give us a word, a clue, a sign of hope, ANYTHING!!!

I just checked the CT website, and had the biggest feeling of disappointment come over me. Yeah, seriously, I don't mind waiting, but that's how I feel every time I go to the site and check it.....about 6 times a day. Come on fellas! You can't keep us in suspense like this. It's just mean at this point. Give us a word, a clue, a sign of hope, ANYTHING!!! Ditto.

Didn't we all vote to get at least weekly email updates? *grumble grumble*

We didn't all get the survey.
Even if Joel updated and only told us what he'd had for breakfast, that'd be something.

Ooh... let's all guess what Joel had for breakfast.
I'm going with waffles.

Count me in as well.
Rifftrax is getting old. MST3k has been old. Making fun of the new Bot Toons is old.
Need something new. Something that was supposed to be here a week ago. No updates is just making it worse. Even if they give us a new date and end up going past that, at least we have a new date to look forward to rather than the old missed launch date to look back on.

I'm very anxious, too, for CT's debut, but given that it's the holidays and all, they're probably as busy in their personal lives as we may be. They probably also have other professional irons in the fire to attend to to support themselves and their families. Perhaps people or services they had counted on became unavailable. Things happen. I trust them to get it right, and I understand their wanting to put the extra time into it. No doubt they want to make it the best they can!

Oh, I can respect their having personal lives and other responsabilities. I applaude their efforts to make it the best work they can. I can take the waiting in lieu of all that. I can wait, if only Joel would take two minutes of his time to post "we're almost ready, just another week/a few days/soon." That's all he'd have to say, and we could all breathe easy.
