I'd like to have the Brains riff the insane customers and my dumb-as-a-post boss at work (I work at a movie theater to pay for college and I had no idea how dumb and mean people could be until I started working there. There were dumb and mean ones in high school, but these are GROWN PEOPLE!) It would be a gold mine for CT. ...Which brings us to this week's invention exchange. It's the portable science theater 3000! This handy device transmits riffs directly to your brain. Now your life, too, can be as fun and hilarious as the show! Portable Science Theater 3000, it's totally mental! As brilliant as I first thought that was ( great name too ) , I realized we all kind'a got one a those already : Funny riffs in my brain ? . . . oh , you mean my sense of humor ?

But does your sense of humor take the form of Joel/Mike and the bots in shadowrama along the bottom of your mind's eye?

As one who wears glasses, you get used to the peripheral of your vision being less useful. Plus it'd be hilarious seeing Joel jumping up from his "seat" and pointing at things. Okay, now someone needs to make glasses that have the shadowrama on the bottom of the lens. Yes, it's impractical, but you will be the envy of every other Mstie on your street! (Which is great unless you're like me and live in a Mstie-less neighborhood...) Anyway - you guuuys! Tonight I went to a live show of Cartoon Dump and talked to Frank(!!!) and he said that Cinematic Titanic will be coming out next week. So that's something. I suppose I should've been like "GAARR RAGE WHY FOR YOU MAKE US WAIT!?? *breaks stuff*" but it's nigh impossible to be mad at the guy. He's really really nice and friendly. Also, J. Elvis was there as the comedy stand up, and any doubts I might've had about the guy are gone. He is one funny dude. My excitement is renewed. ;D (As a side note, I asked Frank if he'd seen the new Mst3k.com, and he answered that he thought the toons would be perfect for Cartoon Dump. )

Way to go Robyn! You took the initiative and found the info, by going to the horse's mouth!
Well, I guess Joel would be the Mouth. Frank is more like the horse's mane, with his signature hairstyle and all. I wish I still had wheels. That show is up in the Hollywood area, right?

It's a pretty fun show. I mean, honestly, I probably like it so much because I'm a Mstie and it's like, "OMG FRANK (AND SOMETIMES JOEL/TRACE/J.ELVIS," but it's still a pretty good time. ^^
