I am so not going to Hooter's. Not even if all the Titans and their spouses invite us to join them there. Does that sound harsh? I don't mean to be harsh. I'm just sayin'. Come to think of it, the only time I have ever been in and eaten at a Hooter's was at the Philly meet-up in 2006. Make of that what you will.

I like Hooters. Decent cheap chow, and I've always had good service.

Depending on if I'm with my BF toward that time of the year, I may be able to get us an awesomely cheap group rate at a Marriott, most likely a Courtyard by the airport... and perhaps a cheap rental car too. He used to work at a Marriott and now he works at a car dealership, he's got the hookups!

Well, if there's ever been a good reason to stay with a boyfriend, it's because he can get you a good group rate at the Mariott! ;D

Tickets are $37.50 and $32.50. Thought I would de-lurk to say: Am I the only one who is a little disappointed about how much the tickets cost? I was hoping they'd be around $25 like the San Diego Rifftrax show. I'm still going, but with ticketmaster fees we're looking at $50 a ticket

I hadn't looked at prices for other shows, and to be honest, I was expecting the $50-60 range before ticketmaster.

Therefore they have to make up for more of the cost by boosting the ticket prices a bit. Also, there are only three riffers for the Rifftrax riffing and five riffers for the CT riffing. They also have to cover the cost of flying four of them in for the show. Just some thoughts.

trying to get approximate times for myself... Would it be fine to just get a really early morning flight on 10/25? (Hopefully there's a motel/hotel that will let me check in before noon...) I'm coming from San Jose, so the flight would be about 9 hours depending, and that Hiawatha train takes about 1/2 hour to get from my airport terminal to the theater stop...How early would we have to be at the theater? And what if people wanna meet up before the show itself? (I have too many questions! T___T)

Looking at the situation with my finances and schedule it doesn't look like this is going to be a possibility for me. Maybe next year I can make a Riff-centric event, but right now it looks like nothing doing this year.

DoctorZ, I hate to hear that! I was looking forward to seeing you. Hopefully next year. RAD Thanks for caring. I'd love to see you and MJ again real soon. Any possibility of an event/trip to the Sunshine State? If its within 300 miles, I'm there!
