Finally got the rifftrax for Plan 9 and it was a blast. It was great hearing the guys picking on some of these old turkeys. So, now that I'm in the mood for more, I was wondering which are some of the best rifftrax released so far, which stand out, are funnier than others, etc. in your opinion?

The shorts go almost without saying. Get them now.
For the full-length features, my favorite is still Matrix Reloaded. That was the funniest full-length riffing I've watched since the show went off the air. The movie choice helps in this instance - to me, it's a completely boneheaded film that wastes 85% of its screen time dawdling around, but it's still watchable somehow (unlike the final movie in the trilogy).

You can't go wrong with Road House and Crossroads, in my opinion. They're both Mike-only efforts, but the movie choices are excellent and Mike is in good form.

For me, the Star Wars Holiday Special and 300 are pretty damned fine. Just watched the 1st half of glitter and I was killing myself laughing.

I forgot about the Star Wars Special. In many ways, that felt the most like MST3k of the longer rifftrax works. Riff-for-riff, it wasn't quite the funniest, but the feeling of watching some utterly insane '70s crap made up for it. Also, the riffs on the old TV commercials are pure gold.

Yeah it's a good one but the special itself is pure torture. It may have been the hardest time I've ever had with something riffed upon. I'm usually so good with bad stuff as well.

That is a valid point. There was a fair amount of hatred for the film on that one. For whatever reason, it didn't bother me...and I'm usually pretty intolerant of really bad films.

It's tough to recomend Trax because, not unlike MST3K, there are Riffs for every taste. I like the StarWars series myself. I also like the LOTR movies and any of the other SciFi/Fantasy genre.
