Okay, my curiosity is piqued. I like the Comics Curmudgeon site a lot, and I am really interested to hear this guy. They'll have their work cut out for them, though. I love this movie - I just rewatched it and it really holds up well.

Love the Comics Curmudgeon site, and I think Josh will make for a very strong riffer. I assume the guests are active in the writing of the track?
It's interesting to me that each of the three Spider-Man films has a unique set of riffers. Would make for an interesting viewing marathon, I suspect!

I think Josh got a shot at editing the final draft. I (and the other new writers) contributed to this script as well. It was the most fun I've ever had riff writing. Lots to work with.

Take a look at his site if you like to read angry commentary on the state of newspaper comics in general. I don't believe he comments on superhero comics, except for the few that have daily newspaper strips (e.g. Spiderman). It's great for some laughs and a lot of truthfulness.

I took a quick glance, it didn't do much for me but I probably need to give it a serious once over to truly know if I'd like it.

I haven't read it too much recently, but I took another glance at it today. Maybe the focus has shifted or my memory is faulty, but I remembered this site having more detailed criticisms and discussions about the problems with many modern newspaper comics (e.g. dumbed-down humor, lack of originality, poor joke delivery, etc.). Much of what’s here seems to be comments or jokes about the plotlines themselves or just saying “this made me laugh today.” I’ll take a closer look at it for a while, too, to get reacquainted with the site.

Interesting idea of adding a third person into the mix with Bill and Kevin. I think I'll give it a try. Of course I've given every Rifftrax since day one a try. Why change now?
